Default how easily opinions can be changed, how easy it is to have a bias

My first character was a W/Mo and i really liked this character, whizzed thru the pve missions and ascension no problems, came accross tombs, tried it once, then thought id come bak to it after i completed the game, completed the game, went back to tombs.

what i found out;

There are alot of warriors out there who give the 'good warriors' a really bad name, warriors who are jus lil kids, think for themselves, go rushing in thinkin that their armour will see that they be ok, ignoring the target calls, gaining their own lil person vendettas in battles just because sum1 attacks them; running off by themselves because they think they are more powerful than everyone else, that they are 'bigger' than the team.

because of alot of people playing warriors like this its lead to them being disliked and a waste, and me, playing a warrior, tryin to find a team at tombs had become a nightmare, u hear people saying stuff like ffs why u get a warrior? etc, and after a while of jus feeling this negative attitude towards you jus because of what class you chose to play and not based on ur ability to game well, it actually lead me to hating all monks, that they all thought they were special, that they were superior in the sense that they hav the final say in pvp.

i made my second character, a Monk/Mesmer, and boy this was fun, i enjoyed this character way much more than i ever enjoyed my warrior character, i got into parties with ease, breezed thru missions and ascended, got the skills i wanted and went to tombs, by this time the 'air ele and monk' teams are the 'thing' and i enjoyed successful spells in these teams, and i did great at tombs, got to HoH serveral times, still yet to win but come close on a few occasions, and u know what the funny thing was? i had become the one thing i hated, i HAD become that monk that thought he was better than everyone, i got strong negative attitudes towards warriors, i experienced the feelings of the monks i once hated, i never wanted to be in a party which had warriors, even leaving parties because i refused to believe it was possible to win HoH at that time with more than 1 warrior.

and i just found it hard to believe how easily it was for me to think like that, that even after going everything thru with my warrior, i feel this way now.
i was just wondering if this was familiar to anyone else?

I make it a point not to dislike class types. That's not fair.

I ALSO hate these bastards who will only join teams with Vent/Teamspeak. I've fought teams and witnessed battles where all they used was the compass and control key. Wth? I do run Ventrillo for my guildmates but the fact is some people just don't have working mics or can't get the program to run due to some circumstance.

Become the thing you hate? What the majority of assholes don't know is that there are good players of certain classes out there. Players who know how to tank in PvE. [you know, get all the monsters on just 1/2 warriors? that IS what they're supposed to do...] Players who know how to disrupt in pvp. [conditions and hexes, both can be removed and both can be applied. Why do idiots keep coming up with these smartass countering remarks about skills that ownz j00?] Everything can be countered, that's what makes this game the most balanced CORPG I've played. And also the FIRST CORPG I've ever played... ^_^

You're hanging out with more idiots than tolerant people. It's too bad it's hard to find tolerance in a game with elitists but there's some... I'd like to say I'm one but I too can't tolerate somethings. Yeah, I hate elitists who think a class sucks due to misinformation.

Simple reason for me to barely let WaMo in my team that I dont know:

10% of all WaMo > 100% of all non-WaMo > 90% of all WaMo

Need another reason?

Its ALWAYS the WaMo that leave the game first!!!!!!

Ive had plenty of monks leave the game first and still finish the mission without em.

Granted, this was pre-thunderhead keep, but still its stupid the amount of people who dont have patience.

Why is anyone hating anyone?
When i first started in guild wars after annoucement, i thought necros were awful. Then i saw mass minions. I thought rangers were weaker overall than the other classes, then there was spirit spam. Anyone who doesnt like something is misplaced. There are a minority of individual skills that arent very good, but usually even they have some purpose (e.g. mending). And I would say that while necros dont suck, they are the weakest class. But again, thats no reason not to let one into your team. Monks are not kings of the world, in fact ive only met about three good monks, ever. Only reason being is ive played monk and found that your job is much easier than you let on. Wa/Mo is one of the best classes on the game, so dont diss -.- Lately ive been coming around to the thought that eles are less useful than warriors. Air spikes surged the community to think of lots of counters, and now everyone and their grandma is more or less safe in organised teams. Im not saying eles are weak, far from it, but they dont seem as handy at the moment. and it goes round in circles, and in a month the spirit spam will have been countered, by whatever, and maybe eles will be back. Best thing is to stay out of the wave of current easy rides and do what you want, since it all works if you execute it properly.
