Default Grieftacular Arena Fun!

So, being bored today, I played a slight variation of the prot monk I usually duo with in the Underworld, and it looked like so:

Mo/X (doesn't matter)

12+4 prot +1 (a % chance item when casting skills)
8+1 Healing
10+1 Healing

Smite Hex
Divine Boon
Mend Ailment
Healing Hands*
Blessed Signet
Balthazar's Spirit
Essence Bond
Protective Bond

Begin the fight by casting/cancelling/recasting Protective Bond till you get it at 1 energy (17 prot needed), and cast the other 3 enchants. Use Blessed signet to recharge your energy until it's full. Wait until the other 3 members of your party die. Then, engage. Now, this build has tons of holes, but I don't care, because when no one on the enemy team has energy denial, (good) interrupts, enchant removal, or knockdowns, you can tank all 4 of them infinitely. I know, I know, it's lame, you can't kill anyone, you die more than half the time, sometimes you don't get lucky with the prot bond, but hey, when you get it... It's so fun =P You sit there and spam boon/mend ail/smite hex as needed, and you never take more than 20-25 damage, less if you pack in a bunch of sup runes, use blessed signet as necessary, and enjoy XD

ahhh, tanking in the arena..... heres a more standard build......

Watch Yourself!

wo/mo

watch yourself
heal area
sheilding hands
balthazars spirit
live vicariously
vig spirit
ressurect
guardian

....... the only thing that beat this build ever, was a daze inflicting build.... at which point i was throughly taught a lesson. Its standard, but then again its arena -.-

As something useful, it takes about 10 minutes on average for a team to leave if they have nothing to stop you (i.e. dazed). However, having a build with no strength and no points in sword, if a warrior decides hed like to stick it out with you your also screwed.... i have a screenshot somewhere of a one on one going 60 minutes. (in case your wondering i didnt actually sit and watch :S)
