Default Farming character

Yesterday I pulled up my fourth character slot and started up a W/Mo, getting through the entire pre searing in less then 4 hours. What I plan to do is set it up to do some farming all over Tyria. So I'm gonna take it through all the way to Beacon's Perch, debate whether or not to grab droknars armour, then continue on bashing skulls in all the way down to Sanctum Cay then traverse the desert.

I plan to not to any mission at all unless absolutely necessary to get to a place, such as Thunderhead Keep to get to the Ring of Fire and Sanctum Cay to get to the Desert, and of course ascension so the Temple of Ages is open to this char. So I'll be just doing all the quests instead. I'm sure that'll keep my level and stats adequate for the trip.

But what I really would like to hear are some comments, suggestions and such about how I should go about this? Axe, Sword or Hammer? Smiting, Healing or Protection? What are some nice skill sets or suggestions for me to build my own skill set from to do at first the long journey then the actual farming?

For farming as a W/Mo, I totally recommend Axe. Cyclone Axe for the win!!

You can't get better damage output as a W/Mo in PvE....esepcially if you plan on soloing to farm. And W/Mo with heal would be best for survivability.

But...shouldn't your 4th character slot reserved for PvP char? :P

I personally would go for axe/strength/smiting, or axe/strength/heal.
I just started my W/R yesterday, also filling my 4th slot. He's a sword but hey, if you want a travelling partner just msg me. Name is Flaming Peanut.

when i farm i go with warrior/smitter and grab 2 henchie healers.
you can use a cheesy opening like i do...
1) equip axe and ankh so you can cast three smiting spells...
2) switch to hammer after and use adreline skills...
3) there shouldn't be much left afterwards...
either heal or smite depending on how much is left...
4) if your nervous use lesser smitimg spells and bring earth shaker, and rely on your smiting.

good luck.
