Default Do builds involving enchantment still any good?

With so many dis-enchants in the game, its discouraging for me to use enchantments in my skill bar, especially for pvp. So Im wondering if anyone has a different opinion and willing to share his views.

Im aware how powerful enchants can get so dis-enchants are needed to counter them. But my main point is how reliable is it to bring enchantment skills with me into battle, 1? or 2?or 4?

Lately, I've been disillusioned to the whole enchantment aspect of the game. Reason? Nature's renewal.

In arena, you'll find that disenchants aren't all that common, and that you can use buffs aggressively.

In Tombs or GvG, you're going to see Nature's Renewal used very aggressively. Enchantments aren't going to be useful unless you don't want them to stick for very long.

Peace,

Enchants are fine as long as you can time them between NRs. seed and healing hands have a little too long a duration to use reliably wihout QZ though.

not that reliable.

most enchantment removal has some sort of negative affect when removing it. so you cast the enchantment and it stays on for a few seconds then gets removed and negative affect. the negative affect will always outweigh the enchantment because enchantments need to be on you for a while to have any real impact. not to mention you wasted a skill slot on something you can't even use effectively.

they get removed too fast and by too many different classes.

Smites are still good against nature's renewal. Balth's aura especially will still hurt a lot. Nature's has a 5 second cast time, so they would really have to have an instant reaction to Balth's if they wanted to remove it before it ran out.

I've been seeing lots of teams with E/Mos running Balth and Zealot's Fire in the tombs lately... Backed by a necro with putrid, its just devastating especially for ganking the altar.

Nature's renewal can be spammed roughly every 10 seconds using oath shot + quickening zephyr. That's a global enchantment strip every 10 seconds, which you'll be sure the enemy will be doing if they see you running smiters.

You run a great risk of encountering NR and getting shut down, by going all-out smiting.
