Default Best Elementist/ Monk Build?

Does anyone have an opinion on what they believe to be a high quality build for an e/mo? I am primarily use fire magic and actually haven't tried any other form.

Also, I have the Signet of Capture and was wondering if there is/are skills worth capturing and from whom?

After getting my Warrior/Monk though the game, i started an Ele/Monk and my no means is my build the best, but I like it, i get into the action with it.

I have fireball, immolate, inferno, meteor shower, pheonix, then i have healing breeze, shielding hands and rez on my skill bar.

It is treating me very well, im only lvl 14 and cruising along with this build.

I had inferno in my skills bar for awhile and it never really gave me the effective damge that I wanted. Maybe I misunderstood how it works and am using it wrong.

Also, I'd like to know where you go the pheonix build too if you could let me know that would be awesome. I have most of the skills you have named and I usually use fireball, firestorm, meteor shower, and then I have the glyph of lesser energy, aura of restoration, healing breeze, dwayna's kiss, and heal other. I know that the firestorm and meteor shower take a lot of energy and usually are best for causing damage on larger groups but like I said, inferno wasn't really working for me and I basically only use fire magic so some of the skills I have aren't worth my time. Also, I had the Reserrection signet in there for a while instead of dwayna's kiss but I can only use that once in a mission and I thought the other healing spells were better to use in preventing the death but then if I do need it I am kind of screwed. I am a level 16 and have gotten there pretty quickly and tend to do well with the build I have now but I was hoping I could find a better one and really do some good damage and have some really good healing going on. It is just tough because the glyph of lesser energy helps only me and so does aura of restoration so it seems like it almost takes up two skill slots that I could be using on something more effective all around.

Thank you for you imput! I am going to keep looking around and possible "steal" some of your ideas

My build is

12 (14 with runes) Fire Magic
9 Healing Magic
9 Energy storage.

I think it works quite well.

My build atm is:

With runes,

14 Fire Magic,
11 Earth Magic
10 Energy Storage

I only use revive as my half monk class, but my wards and armory with a monk in a party makes my mad cow fire hitter invincible...

Default E/Mo Build For PvE

My E/Mo build is:

Flare
Fireball
Meteor
Firestorm
Aura of Restoration
Glyph of Lesser Energy
Heal Party
Restore Life

Fire 16 (12 + sup rune + flames eye)
Energy Storage 12 (10 + major rune)
Healing 8

Sometimes I swap Pheonix for Firestorm but to make the most use of it you have to be close to enemies which is usually not good. I sometimes also use Immolate, but I find the energy cost is too high to be really useful. I used Fire Attunement for a while too, but I found I had enough energy and the spot was better used by a AoE spell. I tend to stay away from Meteor Shower because of the high cost, casting time, and recycling time. I use Heal Party instead of Orrison of Healing or Healing Breeze because there is no cycling time and it hits everyone in the party without having to retarget an enemy. If its combined with Gylph or Lesser Energy you still have a 5 cost healing spell. I sometimes substitute another AoE spell if we have 2 healers (3 in later missions). I haven't capped any elite skills yet with this character, I was hoping to get Mind Burn in the Ring of Fire.

I can also switch this char to a decent healer by moving 4 Fire attribute points to healing and loading up with 4 healing spells (I replace Flare and the 3 AoE spells). I usually include Healing Breeze, Orrison of Healing, Healing Seed, and Mending. Glyph of Lesser Energy is kept for use with Heal Party and Healing Seed. The high amount of energy I have helps to lessen the effects of maintaining several Mendings.

I hope this helps.
