Default Ok.. After some requests...here are my elementalist farming builds....

Ok after some requests for some of my farming set ups for an elementalist main build i will put up my two favorites. The builds will work fine regardless of what your secondary is (i use no secondary skills).

The first build is FIRE/WATER build...always use the fire collectables 20/20/20

This build consists of the following skills:
Meteor Shower
Fire Storm
Lava Font
Flame Burst
Inferno
Armour of Mist(for outrunning guys i dont want to kill!!)
Aura of Restoration/fire attunement (your preference)
Mist Form

This set up works well with 16 fire/ 10-11 water, and the rest in energy storage. I use this set-up for the caromi elites (mist form right past that first group so u get 0 dp) and any other class of people where they eal primarily physical damage. This set up works wonder because i start out with aura of restoration..... then as i see the npc's get pulled toward me, i cast mist form (17 seconds no physical damage) then start spamming the spells in order! Not too many groups can withstand that birrage of fire spells. (the mist form works wonders like i said for bypassing the people you dont want to kill and also incase mist forms wheres off on you and another group comes in...i just mist form up and run like hell...then come back when rd!!)

MY NEXT BUILD IS FIRE/EARTH

This is my PRIMARY farming build because it can work just about anywhere. This one gets a little more complicated. I use this farming perdition rock and basically anywhere in the game.

Meteor Shower
Fire Storm
Inferno
Flameburst
Fire Attunement
aura of restoration
armour of earth
Obsideon Flesh

The main gist of this build is to spell yourself up early. Fire attunement, the aura, then i use armour of mist when im rd to engage. If i see a spellcaster in the group, i put on obsideon flesh and target that person first (run next to them)..obsideon flesh prevents any character from targetting u for a spell. Like i said, this is my main setup for perdition rock and everywhere in the crystal desert. I love making Hydra runs/griffon runs... I can normally take a group of 5-6 no problems.... (hydras can only hit with inferno since it has no target and that does 55 damage with armour of earth) aura of restoration just juices my health back for 301% of casting!

If you guys like this set up, Ill post my Underworld solo build. It gets even trickier!!

For your Fire/Earth you mention using armor or mist, but you don't have it listed in the spells....I'll take it as a typo ;-)

Regardless thank you for the information as it will help me with some ideas.

Yea thats a typo for the bottom build. I use armour of earth obviously...hehhe sorry. Hopefully everyone likes....these two builds should help make life as an ele alot more fun for some of you! Nothing like seeing all those guys swing at you and not get hit for anything at all!!!

with the mist form i can take on a gang of them, i usually do the griffon run in groups 2 groups of whatever they end up being. Sometimes ill use the ranger serpents quickness to regen skills faster but it depends on the setup and area. But then again, its hard to take on 30 griffons with any build with ele primary

Nice builds. Been thinking about a few setups similar to this but have been more focused on skill capping with my E/Mo lately. I'll have to give these a try.

Would love to see the UW build you mentioned but I almost don't want to risk having it nerfed since i've never seen a UW solo elementalist build on this site before.

Armor of Earth is really nice for a soloing Ele. mobs run up to you, and a +30 or so AL makes a world of difference in surviving hits.
