If I understand your question:

Sword 1: Customized (20%)
Sword 2: Customized (20%)//15%>50

In which case, sword 2 would do more damage as long as both weapons had the same base damage and you were over 50% health.

Some ppl say that (your better explained example) Sword 1 does more dmg than sword 2 is that true? cause u dont need to be higher than 50% to do the 20% of customized i dunno some ppl say that thast why im asking

lol, why would a weapon that does 15% more damage... do less damage? That doesn't make sense :| .

no the thing is people buy 15%>50% weapons for LOTS of money and then use them uncostumized, which does less than a clean custimized weapon. many people buy them for resale, but a custimized 15>50% equals 35% which is better

Yea but some say that when u have a Dmg Mod lets say 15>50 and customized 35% total right, they only get the 35% total if health above 50% not just get the extra +15% if ur above 50% and the 20% of customized always. And with Clean u get the 20% always

Generally you'll be a warrior, thus your monks should be able to keep you over 50% anyways. If not then fire them and get good ones.

I don't start healing til about 1/3 health. It's a waste of my energy to heal you too soon.

better never start healing, it's just a waste of time. In the end, we all die, so why waste energy and time?

And you're a waste of a healing monk if you mess up and they die because of some spike damage you didn't prepare for, or you got shutdown/interrupted right when you decided you wanted to start healing....

Stop trying to use Word of Death, err Word of Healing for energy management and pack a real elite to do that for you. In PvE with a team there is no way you should ever run out of energy as a Monk. In PvP, go ahead use WoH and wait till your team member is almost dead, do it twice and they will be dead the second time against a good team.

I have never understood this. You either buy a weapon to use it or to resell it. Why in the world would you invest heavily in a top of the line weapon and not customize it?

If I'm just using a weapon temporarily, I would buy a 12%>50% or 13%>50% weapon...it is a WHOLE lot cheaper and you're getting about the same damage as the 15%>50%. Chances are you're only using it for a very short period of time, so the extra damage from the 20% customization doesn't matter a hill of beans (since you're probably battling the lower levels of the PvE anyways).

Hon, I have no problem healing. I plan ahead for the moronic behavior of most groups. My pve setup is different than pvp. In pvp, I do not wait until 1/3 health. In pve, I have no energy management issues because I use it wisely and don't overheal.

whoa ... slow the flames ... usually you should never over heal arathorn ... most groups will run a healing and protection skills. But I am assuming most groups also use the better half of their brain, and I am assuming that most of these individuals I speak of have beat the game with about 5-7 characters each (excluding helping guildies on all of the repeat missions). This falls into preperation ... it is senseless just to flame someone on hypotheical situations.

Hypothetically that ele should have nuked the other ele before that person was spiked... flame the ele now? heh ... see what I mean ... sounds silly doesn't it.

Just a little idea: you can start healing earlier and still not overheal.
a normal orison heals for about 100 and a normal player has about 400 health. so you can start healing when they drop to 3/4 health.

you get no benefit (besides WoH) when letting them fall so deep.

Sorry dansamy, I was thinking in PvP terms.

stumpy, that's the kind of thought that I've seen bad healing monks use; wanting to get every little inch of each healing spell, and I've seen over and over where people die because they weren't healed when they took initial damage, then you've got multiple targets to heal, still waiting to see if one goes below half health, then you're in trouble by that point. I'm not saying it's bad play, hell I don't even play a monk. I am saying that if by your decision to not heal early enough someone happens to die, IMO you owe them an apology.

I've heard arguments against divine boon (other than the whole energy debate) pointing out that they don't like boon because it encourages late healing. which can be a very bad habit.
