i set up heal monks with inspire hex and all monks have hex breaker, prot usually with remove. in most cases both types of monks should have hex removal. hex breaker always blocks the most hurtful hexes and the better reflexes you have the more hexes u can prevent on urself, most hexes afterwords are cover hexes, although still not good to have on you, not as dangerous as initial hexes

Add in the help the team out part of the hex removal spell and you have a winning combination. With the need to remove hexes in this game, there is no reason not to find a spot for it.

Of course, there isn't anything else an Ele can take. Who need Wards, who needs gale, who needs winbourn speed, who needs...

smite hex is the only thing you can take - it's so true...

*sigh*

Mesmers can also steal those hexes (or prevent them from being cast, or delay them once they -get- cast) by acting offensively towards the hex casters. So can rangers... though that is one thing I believe we've truly lost when it comes to Nature's Renewal.

Even necromancers, warriors, elementalists, and monks can interrupt casting.

Removing hexes is just one option.
