Thoughts on the best combination of mods on an axe
Hi all
Just wanted your thoughts on the best mods for pve axes. I currently use the following combination of axe and shield when both pve and farming I also have this set up for when I go against mesmers who throw out hexes ie in SF Any suggestions on how I could improve them? I have a +28 grip in storage and could possibly salvage a gold axe I found to give me a +7 armor vs physical - would either of these make a big difference. I tend to run enchanted based rather than tactics (even thoough the shield has a req of 7)...dare I say mending!! But when I farm I use live vic and balth spirit which give me the +43 from the shield and bonetti the -2 in a stance. I guess the +14% dmg in a stance is wasted when I pve coz I don't use stances very often then, only when farming - I think it's only then that I get the full benefit of all the mods. I do have a purple great axe which I'm happy to play about on and try mods so I've got something to experiment with. Any thoughts or suggestions would be much appreciated. Cheers Rich |

+15%^50.
Lengthens Deep Wound (or some kind of elemental mod if your team is using stuff like Iron Mist) +50 armor or +30 health, whichever you prefer. |

+5 armor > +30 health in most situations.
