Prav ran this build before the last patch when attack speeds stacked. except we ran it with incind. and with healers. it won hall quite a few times but its not as effective these days.

Um... I've never lost in an IWAY group against someone who uses heal balls or who bunch up. First off, I've actually killed quite a few people who seem to ball up and wait for us just using bow attacks and pets (I still get the benefits of Orders). Secondly, Cyclone Axe + Vampiric Axe + Order of the Vampires is such an awesome way to heal myself

Now AoEs? That's another horrible idea. As I said before, I can just send my pets in with a bow against Smite-Balls, and the pets usually end up dead. Then our necro starts piling up the Putrid Explosions

Again, Meteor shower hits pets also. EoE and Tainted Flesh help speed up my pet's death and ultimitaly help keep me alive.

Using AoE against IWAY isn't a good thing. Try to pick them off one at a time.

i just cant resist saying this, but you are like totally full of crap here. aoes are the way you kill iway teams. ok they send their pets in, you can just wait them out. most are way too impatient to actually let the pets seriously annoy a group, but once the entire group rushes in alot of aoes can totally destroy an iway team.

the corpse necro on the other team is a problem, i agree, but thats why you would (ideally) have some kind of interupter on him.

so... aoes are excellant against iway teams. i dont know what your talking about here

If you're using a R/W for this.. why not use frenzy?

It's not as if rangers are a top priority to kill in PvP plus it only costs 5 energy.

Ah, so you are counting on them being impatient n00bs to formulate your counter? That's nice and all, but why not formulate a counter that can take out n00b and good IWAY groups?

Ok, so let's say we did rush in and then you let loose and AoE while you are inside your ball. What is stopping us from moving out of the AoE and letting our pets die? Most AoEs aren't even large enough to make a snared warrior stay within range. Even then, that's only one or two AoE - I can deal with that, especially since I always have a Necro carrying Windborne speed and all the Warriors carrying Sprint.

You still haven't given me any logical reasoning why AoE is better against IWAY groups.

It depends on how well you can actually kill with your AoE. 4 dead warriors means a lot of rezzing - but in those precious seconds, you can damage or even kill even more of the warriors. At some point the Rez Signets will be used up and that's it. Even IWAY won't help anymore in that case.

Bad AoE that fails to kill more than 1 or 2 warriors, but kills a lot of pets, will fuel the IWAY and you've got to defend very hard.

Killing one at a time puts your monks and anti-warrior characters under pressure - they have to heal/prot or hex for a long time against a very offensive team. That's why AoE might be a bit more convenient if you can pull it off.

It wasn't possible to get to 166% before, isn't possible now. There is no point in using TF and IWAY at the same time. You will only get 133% no matter how many skills you use. There is no use to run IWAY groups anymore. There was little use running them before. If people scanned their options of skills more closely they will realize that taking only a few skills will render IWAY neer useless. If you don't give up on the IWAY ANet will just nerf it more and more, ruining the balance of the game. It was a great build at the beginning, like all thoughtout builds, but then everyone abused it. Signed up to say this because here you see several IWAY threads on how to make it work while at other forums you see threads telling people to stop the IWAY. This game is about skill and strategy. Don't like to think? Go play WoW.

EDIT: Let the flaming begin... Hope you have fun.
