Hmm... Other than earth shaker both of the builds I suggested rely on energy, not adrenaline. I usually prefer to use adrenaline for spikes when I can see, and have these other types of skills for when I can't. I suppose if you wanted to, you could swap out Earth Shaker in the hammer one and take Shock instead, and pick up something like Devastating hammer as your elite, then you'd have the option of both an ele spike and a warrior spike.

[edit]For the blackout character, I think you misread what I was saying. I'm not necessarily suggesting you go up and hit the target with blackout as soon as you approach (I would probably open with something like cripple, were I sword for example), and pound away until someone decides to start throwing hexes or conditions on you. If/when they do, then blackout your target, which effectively disables you both for the 5 second period.

It's really minor but IMO it should be evis and rake or cleave and exe/penetrating. Now that cleave is better for pure damage then evis should only be used if you are going to rake or twist and rake.

Uh no

Cleave shouldn't be used unless you have at least 2 other people applying deep wounds during spikes. It's spikes and not dps that matter in the top.

It's fine to bring Cleave if you look at things from the diverse perspective vs. the EVERY WARRIOR IN THIS TEAM MUST BRING AXE WITH EVIS+EXE STRIKE!!!

I however think that to work with Cleave, you need skills that recharge just as fast. You don't want to put a large adrenal charging skill with a small one because the larger one needs to do a tremendous amount of damage for it to be feasible. [Fear me being my exception muahaha]

I was working on a possible Cleave build just because not only did it get a reasonable buff giving Cleave builds a much more robust sense of DPS, but Cleave is Cleave. It's an option, albeit not a good one, that can complement spike dmg from other warriors/classes...

You want maximum spike, go Evis, you want their hp to be dropping at a long lasting consistent rate? Go Cleave. However, I'd advise against using Fear Me!! with Cleave since you need to pump out as much damage as you possibly can. Let's look.

12+1+3 Axe Mastery
8+1 Strength
10 Curses

Cleave {E}
Penetrating Blow
Swift Chop
Disrupting Chop/For Great Justice!!
Frenzy
Sprint
Weaken Armor
Rend Enchantments

Since the DPS for Cleave is good, we need to punch it to the sky to make it even feasible in a build. With 3 adrenal and 1 energy attack, adrenaline shouldn't be hard to come by coupled with Frenzy. Weaken Armor's -20 AL causes all your hits to do Crit style damage: ~125% and if you do a crit ON TOP of Weaken Armor, that's ~150% damage, EXCLUDING damage from customization and stance/etc. modifiers...

Rend is great on a warrior because enchantments stop warriors 2nd most in game priority. With conditions/hexes on top of that.

If you don't care about interrupting, you spike your adrenaline input with FGJ and do Cleave every 2-3 swings. Under Weaken Armor, that monk will have NO CHOICE but to focus on healing your victim no matter what...

Yeah, I've got a less frustrating way of playing a warrior. I sit in front of my opponent and sip tea, while discussing the state of the world and the aggressiveness of the younger players.

"Quite troubling, innit?"

"Indeed, jolly friend, indeed!"

Seriously, those counters to warriors are frequent because the warriors it counters are frequent. The more you'll see these warriors, the more counters there will be, and the more counters there will be, the less these warriors will keep playing that way, and it will all balance itself out someday.

Zeru from iQ showed me a tactic in 4v4 arenas. As a warrior, when you are attacking someone that either blocks, evades, or protects against your attacks--switch!!! Hit "tab" and "c" and attack the next character. Keep switching if need be. Great way to keep a healing and protection monk busy, and helps keep your adrenaline going.

See Zeru, I was paying attention!!!

My bad, I did not quote the right way. I meant earth shaker indeed.

The thing I usually do in 4v4 is go for mesmer/ele/necro/ranger first, when my adrenaline is full I spike the healer and 80% of the time the healer/protter is down. If you fail and he is healed back up, repeat the process
