Echo > Power Attack :O
I also read of Echo > "To the Limit!" somewhere.

Actually, I wonder if
Balanced Stance > Echo > Desperation Blow > Desperation Blow > Thrill of Victory would work. With 16 Tactics, that's +42 each.

It pretty funny to run that 2. Ran that build just to see if it was possible. It works.
As for coping adrielan skills Echo really only good for coping ones that require 4 or less adrien so you can pop several of them off before it wears off.

coping Granth is not so good just due to it takes a while to charge it back up 2 do the double. I only copied it when I was taking down a ghostly hero and the real reasons I had echo on my skill bar was not being used for (sprint and Fear Me).

An echoed Executionar's strike would be pretty deadly, just a stray thought.

I was running it for a bit in PvE. The main point was to bring Echo+Blackout along for tough bosses and monk mobs then you can swap off to using "To the Limit" + Echo for normal fights. As far as combos for adrenaline generation there are definatley more Efficent ways of going about it, it's just that I was addicted to Blackout for a while. Echo+Cyclone Axe might be interesting.

I was messing around with a Balanced Stance+Desperation Blow+Thrill of Victory Warrior earlier this week. The biggest hurdle, it seems, is to get over is how energy starved they are. Echo only seems to compound this problem.

did a rank 1 tell you evis is better than cleave? cleave does a lot more dps, yet it takes up 1 more skill slot if you want cripple and deep wound.

Uhm, why not use flourish? Recharges your attack skills and gives energy for it. This way you can easily do your energy-based attack combos twice in a row (that is of course provided you use energy based attack skills).

I experimented with savage slash and distracting blow (and some other energy-attack skills). Was fun to use, but not suitable in every match.

Have you ever read Ensign's Cleave vs. Eviscerate article? I'm thinking not.

Average Cleave + Penetrating + Executioner's Series: 50.32 Damage
Average Eviscerate + Penetrating + Executioner's Series: 49.34 Damage

That's a stunning .98 damage more per swing in a usable skill setup. Even if you only used Cleave and only Eviscerate there wouldn't be much difference.

Average Cleave Series: 44.27 Damage
Average Eviscerate Series: 42.10 Damage

So if your only adrenaline skill was Cleave or Eviscerate, the damage per swing difference is 2.17. Wheee!
All these numbers don't even count the deep wound from Eviscerate, this is just raw damage.

*sigh*
some comments to get the full view:
- the numbers were calcuted by Ensign of iQ. I don't know his rank, but I think you should do some reading up on the guides he wrote and posts he made here before implying they were made by someone that doesn't understand GW.
- the numbers were pre patch I think. Cleave is buffed since then.
- for PvE, Cleave is nice. dps counts hard in PvE.
- for PvP, Eviscarate gives with it's Deep Wound /spiking an important value over Cleave.

Yeah those figures were pre-patch. Cleave is much better now, but I have yet to use it.

Those numbers are recalculated for post-patch Cleave. And maybe you misundersood my post, but I know who Ensign is and what he has achieved. The post was only meant to show Mr. Battousai here that Cleave doesn't have an enormous DPS compared to Eviscerate.

That comment wasn't meant for you, but for Mr. Battousai.
good to know that they are recalculated now, hadn't checked upon the article since patch. I'm surprised the dps is still so close together then....
