Default Thunderclap bugged?

It appears now that Thunderclap is bugged, and does not end properly when the caster does not have the energy to trigger it.

There are people abusing this bug in Tombs.

I believe they should be sanctioned by ANet, using the same logic (obvious bug exploiting) that was used to justify the sanction of people killing the doppelganger repeatedly when he would give 40k XP each time.

Discuss.

I havent played around with that skill lately. Are you being the victim of this and not seeing the energy engine behind it or are you voicing it out of experience from use? Considering the mechanics of the skill involved, it would also likely mean that spinal shivers would be bugged as well.

oh please, dust trap was bugged too and people exploited it in Tombs and GvG (yes top guilds) too

just fix the bug and hopefully ANet responds to this one as quickly as they did with the dust trap one

Yep, they're both broken.

Winter turns all elemental damage to cold damage. Great against thunderclap exploiters and great if have armour with a bonus vs cold damage.

Deep wound is also bugged as well. As in, multiple deep wounds stack. It's multiplicitive though, so for example if you get eviscerate --> dismember'ed you're looking at 36% lower max health.

Winter converts all elemental damage to cold damage, GC all physical to elemental. Net result, all damage = cold damage.

This is great against warriors that have the + defense vs physical too...

Deep wounds stack???? wtf.... gotta test it out in unrated GvG sometime...

And yea, thunderclap is bugged. Its pretty much a 21 second knockdown chain if you use wand/staff attacks. The AoE aspect of it makes it really cheap... just have people with warriors on them kite around a thunderclapped target, makes the warriors not able to hit at all, and the Tclapped target isn't doing much either.

I definitely need to put Winter on my ranger so I can hit the arenas and eat some eles.

They're good with melted butter.

Granted that needs to be fixed, but for some reason it doesn't break my heart knowing it's broken.

Well I also know that Battle Rage is bugged, as in you don't lose all your adrenaline anymore when you reapply it. I enjoy constantly gaining double adrenaline.

I wonder if this means all spells with the ends under a certain condition are bugged. Malaise, Wither?

Thunderclap, spinal shivers, deep wounds, etc.

ArenaNet really dropped the ball. How long is it gonna take them to fix up all this mess?
