Default R/mo beastmaster

Ive been trying to come up with a way to make both the pet and the toon do solid damage IE increase damage output without making one weaker than the other.

to that end ive been trying out builds in random arena and came up with this.

ferocius strike ( the ene bonus is great so I can spam this infinitly)
predatory season
favorable winds
strength of honor
tigers fury
troll ungent
rez sig
charm animal

Im finding both the pet and I are doing steady damage
with 11 smite 14 beast mastery 9 marksmanship ( res in wild surv cause its random and I dont always have a healer)

my thought was how could a build like this be implemented into a gvg or HoH match with 8 ppl?

surprisingly enough the damage output from both the pet and myself is enough where ive stood 1v1 with axe wars using evis etc and actually outlived them. Im wondering though what a 6 ranger team build with pets and a couple monk/rangers could do in terms of damage ? of course some skills would be moved around .( ie an interuppter, trapper, etc etc) but with 8 pets all enjoying spirits and str of honor.. seems like a viable build..

what do you think?

my IGN is Samuel de grace if you want to try it with me in tombs

Not good IMO. While u really do good damage both yourself and pet u lack good healing (trolls without wilderness?) and have no attack skills to use your energy on. Also u don't have any healing/protection for your pet, it will die quickly and u won't be able to ress him. Really marks and beastmastery is like swords and axes. Choose one and use it. Or quit smiting, get yourself and pet some heals while still doing good damage with pet and bow.

P.S. BTW have u tried judge's insight on your pet? IMHO a little better than str of honor.

I was expecting to see you wielding a smiting rod/staff for the energy bonus and using zealots fire or balthazars aura to smite through your pet. So you put strength of honor on both you and the pet and you do normal bow attacks and it does normal attacks + ferocious when it is ready? That's it?

At the very least drop marksmanship and use a staff, the damage will be similar. Then use those attribute points elsewhere. Find a way to make more use of smiting since you're investing 11-12 attributes in it.

SoH only works on melee attacks; he couldn't use it on his bow if he wanted to.
