You can't distract a stance.

I'm slightly unsure about this thread. Whilst the original post SEEMS to be joking about some kind of leet mending maintainer... Well stuff like that can work in arena, theres not much that can't... Not that I am reccomending running it at all.

Due to the sheer amount of rangers in arena that like to spam interrupts, If I run anything other than a boon prot (with the .25 second heals), I normally have Mantra of Resolve on my bar. Heal monks are great, definately much more powerfull than boon prots. Sadly they are more susceptible to being shut down by a half decent ranger.

With 10 enchantments how do you keep energy up. You have -4 on your energy and you have to constantly cast. It was hard with 6 I can't imagine 10.

Blessed Signet gives you energy for every enchant you are maintaining. At high divine you can maintain up to 14 enchantments I believe, with Mantra of Inscriptions.

Another way, Like i mentioned, is /N for Offering of Blood.

Makes you depend less on Blessed Signet - which cuts your Rate of getting Interupted.

Too bad you're all way too noobish for my build, which owns every Healing or Protection monk in CA.

What about the Retribution Bonder? I had one of these on my Comp team recently. Surprisingly, we lost the match, but I suspect the other team was hacking.

I was once paired with a Mo/Me in CA and we went FAAARRRR

He had mending, life bond, RoF, watchful spirit, Aura of Faith, Blessed Sig, Mantra of Inscription, and Strength of Honor.

He kept all these +regen skills and everyone on the team had like +7 regen all game, all the time. This worked well with 2 W/R TFers and a spike ranger.

It's CA. Everything works. Heck, we flawlessed people using Mending Wa/Mos in TA. 4 Mending Wa/Mos with Watchful Spirit, 5 pip regen and just beat on people. It sounds dumb, it actually is kinda dumb, but it's arena, you can do ANYTHING.

So; is Mending good? No, not ever run by a monk, and not ever run in PvP. Since you max out the return on the blessed Signet by the 8th enchantment you are better off running 8 enchantments that aren't Mending and using the enrgy you were wasting on mending to heal folks.

Why does it work if it's so bad? Because it is simple. Simple works. Who wants to actually have to heal people, manage their energy and all that. Just slap a mending on them.

For maintaining enchantments, OoB doesn't have ANYTHING on Blessed Signet.
