Default PvP Terms?

I am pretty new to PvP and I see lots of people making parties, but I don't know what they mean...
Things like ss/sv, ss/foc, echo nuker, ren nuker, ...
Isn't there a site where all these terms are explained, what they are and what they do?
I did a search on the forum, but couldn't find anything..

Those are character builds (sets of skills) that are commenly used by teams. ss/foc is a Spiteful Spirit/Feast of Coruption using Necromancer. Echo nuker is a E/Me who uses echo and archane echo to repeatedly cast nuking spells like Meteor Shower.

I don't really PvP outside of a few CA games, but I would guess that ss/sv means Spiteful Spirit (necro elite)/Sympatheic Visage (mesmer skill) and would seem like a good choice to slow down IWAY (if you don't know this, search FotM or Flavor of the Month). Ren nuker is most like an fire elementalist (hence the nuking as opposed to spiking=air usually) using Glyph of Renewal.

If you don't understand terms, you might just try stating your professions and that you are willing to change skills, although I would guess most groups would ignore you for not knowing what you are doing. Try to unlock all skills possible in PvE or CA so you can be more flexible and practice various options for your primary in CA such as if you are an elementalist, the ability to go mulitple different elements.

Edit: I remembered this site.

Dont forget that Ranger Spike grps are groups of ranger who can do ALOT of damage to "soft" targets very easily and quickly.
