For a start, no flag runner (Unless the ele with Windborne is). However I guess we can skip that as being trivial, after watching some of the korean guilds....

Anyway, about the concept. You use a fair amount of PBAoE (Point blank area of effect) spells in the build, which is a bad idea. In PvP, GvG particularly, positioning is key.To represent a flagstand style battle with an Ian Boyd style diagram, here is what you should be aiming for:

-------Monks-------
--------------------
--Offensive Casters-
--------------------
------Warriors------
--------------------
---((FLAGSTAND))--

----OTHER TEAM----

If you use PBAoE spells, it means your casters have to move right up into the lines of the opposing team. For soft targets, that is really not a great idea. Warriors and Melee rangers up front, as they have the armour to deal with much more damage. So basicly the lesson here is to stick with ranged spells only on what should be midline characters.

The other thing is DOT (Damage Over Time) spells, such as Meteor Shower and Firestorm. These are nice in PvE but utterly crippled in PvP by their long cast times, which mean they are bait for interrupts. Not to mention they are quite simply countered with the use of W, A, S and D.

Your attributes are also very thinly spread, generally speaking for casters you should spec in three attributes:

Primary Class Attribute (Expertise, Soul Reaping.. etc)
Skill Based Attribute (What you want to actually use; Air Magic, Domination.. etc)
Energy Management (Inspiration, Blood.. etc)

That is of course no iron bound rule, but it's a good one to work with. You will get far more bang for your buck if you try to keep offensive skills for a caster to one attribute line, and drop more points in it.

Your monks are a little silly, to be blunt. The Draw Conditions + Melandrus Resilience Monk is more of a gimmick that a serious idea. Both monks are also pretty tanked on high energy spells, with no energy management what so ever. In any kind of medium term battle this is going to mean they run out of steam fast, and thats when people start dropping. Have a look at the inspiration and blood lines for good energy gain skills.

The build as a whole has potential I think, 2 monks, 4 eles and a thumper. There is a lot of DPS there once you get the skills and attributes down. Anyway, I hope this has been helpfull, look forward to seeing a revised copy.

Well, I was having fun with a classmate, he plays a fire ele and nothing else... Really, this isn't supposed to be too serious.

I don't really have any serious builds, maybe I'll get around to making one.

I'll try to remake this.

You have only one rez (a hard rez on a monk) in your whole build?

I am sorry, I play a dumb ranger, so if I saw you in GvG I would put Nature Renewal first (so many mesmers, they are probably hexer-s, and I'd be totally wrong, but anyway) and Symbiosis (well, you don't have warriors and you have 2 eles, then you must be spikers). So how would your team play in such environment?

^JR is a very smart person. Yet somehow everyone thinks spirits are trivial, even frozen soil... that's why frozen soil is so effective lol, everyone thinks its a waste of time to kill!!!

I don't like rebirth in any build unless it's PvE or Me/Mo. Reason being that it is hardly ever useful in PvP. In GvG, the only time you should be using that kind of rez is when you have ppl at 60% and you need to get that person to safety. I also don't like monk primaries carrying hard rezzes because in the time it takes for them to rez, more people die.

Something I also noticed was the R/W using frenzy. If you're going to have as many points in beast mastery as you are, why not use tiger's fury instead of frenzy? It doesn't have the double damage negative effect. Energy shouldn't be a problem with the amount of expertise you plan on having.

The monk primary rezzes are mainly for there in case of emergencies. By the way, I hate rebirth too, but I don't know what rez else to put in. (Resurrect, maybe?)
I don't want Tiger's Fury since it disables all non-attack skills, which includes Ferocious Strike. I might replace Call of Haste with it, though.
