Apparently a lot people tried GW out during the Factions preview and the lack of an edit feature turned a lot of them off.

The phrase: "piss poor excuse"

comes to mind.

Although i think everyone is for this and it will come in due course.

this might be slightly off topic but...

while rerolling wouldnt it be cool to be able to unlock the killer Armor? Or your fave PvE weapon skin (instead of the PVP welfare looking version).

The whole reason I went through PvE to unlock 98% of my skills is because pvp item skins just just plain suk bad (the other 2% is to continuously BURN faction for 10k limit)

WHY cant we unlock fissure armor with faction, of at the very LEAST 15k armor. Or how about SOME of the cooler weapon skins

I CANNOT PVP WHILE LOOKING LIKE BUM!. Thx Anet... for the pain and suffering a lot of us have to go through to look good.

But making someone re-roll really doesn't acheive anything, other than put the player through more hassle. Having some kind of character editing feature is just LOGICAL.

I think that pvp char only weapons and rune "creation" under the guise of storage in arenas might be the best way to go about that.

This should have been introduced via a patch a long time ago. All they need to do is put a profession, rune and weapon agent in the PvP areas.

This is disheartening information. I don't pvp all the time, but I always found that having to remake my character for a simple weapon or rune change was extremely annoying. I thought that maybe I had missed something and that I that maybe there was an edit feature I just didn't know about, so I came here to search the guru and found this thread. I only have 88 fame and am working towards rank3, but its not easy to reroll a character quickly and have a group of 7/8 wait on you when your already at a disadvantage of having a low rank, they usually dont want you in the first place, this reroll crap just makes it that much harder.

My thoughts: Anet should incorporate an edit feature to load or edit multiple player profiles under the same pvp player name. Let me explain.

say your pvp player name is "John Doe", at the start up screen you load your pvp character profile named "John Doe". Once you've loaded the game and are in a pvp town there would be a drop down box available for you to quickly change to a different previously saved profile with the same name "John Doe", and you would not have to exit the game and reload since your already loaded under the name "John Doe". You could have maybe up to 4 different saved profiles that could apply to any profession, I could have a w/r, w/e, r/mo, n/e all listed as saved files under the name "John Doe". I guess I'm just dreaming..........

/signed This would be a very useful feature.

Alternatively, if there's a programmatic/technical issue which prevents incorporating this edit feature, simply expand the PvP creation process so that we can create additional items (e.g. 4 different helms with the applicable superior runes, additional weapon configurations) that get stored in our inventories.
