People who can't accept their losses. I don't know how many times I've been sworn at, called a n00b or newb, said I got lucky, or people just generally being arrogant when they lose. They should get in the habit of gg instead.

When I am the only one with a res sig on my team and I die first.

People who ignore calls. I am targetting those monks and not the warriors first for a reason y'know.

People who take the freaking back way in the beach level! By the time they get there the rest of the party is wiped and their 3/4 health from the poison.

People who body-block their teammates where they can't get out of. I had this happen to a caster on my team and he was stuck between a wall, the war on my team, and the other two wars beating on him.

If you dont like fighting people with it, then you are a complete dumb@$$. There ARE (yes i know, hard to beleive) skills that remove enchantments!!

Its no different from someone spamming Healing Breeze. Except that HB is +7-8 regeneration. Thats nothing compared to the +2 or +3 of mending. so get over it already.

I hate people who leave as soon as i use my res sig on them.
I hate when people yell at me for not bringing a res sig as a monk.
^^Any case where a monk usually needs to res, usually means he/she
cant heal well enough to keep everyone else from dying.
...lol?
He means he hates having ppl on his team that use it. And any1 that can pvp decently knows mending is a worthless skill, it doesnt take the next guy to tell me it suxs to kno that 6health per sec is a waste of a skill slot.
If u were joking, i apologize for my stupidity for taking it seriously.

Mine:

~Mo's who cast mending on every1 and call it the "best monk build in the world"
~W/mo who are all stance/healing and call you newb because they are the last one on their team still alive and it takes forever to take them down.

Isn't that the truth. I fought someone today actually that was like that. Since we didn't have any degen in our group it took quite awhile. He thought his build was uber, until I told him that doing 12 dmg a hit to a frenzied war is nothing to be happy about.

Mending is so a noob skill! By extension to PVE, whammos runners from Beacon's Perch to Droknar should not be trusted as they use mending too, as well as the 55hp build is the worst farming build in the game! See, it uses Mending also!

You are too extremist. Mending indeed is a really good skill when used properly. There is no reason in TA to use mending if you have a monk on your team.
In CA however, you're not sure that you will fall upon a monk. So mending can be a good choice if used properly.
It is generally used to fit enchantment-requiring equipment, (cover it with Vigorous spirit). If you fall with primary targets (such as a monk or a mesmer) in your team, cast mending on them to let them survive a bit longer. Healing Prayers are generally used when you don't want to waste points in tactics.
Healing signet as a whammo is really dangerous, especially against spikers, and is interrupted very easily (and is really flashy so interrupters love it). As you have not divine favor, other healing spells are near to useless, and remember that healing breeze costs half your mana bar, can be interrupted, and is an enchantment as well.
This said, I can understand all this mending hatred as it is misused by many. I sometimes used Word of healing + Vigorous spirit to heal myself, it is as powerful as Healing signet without the long casting time + -40 armor, but it takes you elite slot.
Anyway, when you are a whammo, it is really hard to find a decent self-healing in CA (And I talk for CA ONLY- In TA or elsewhere you have a monk so you focus on damage/condition dealing).

What I hate is Monks without conditions/hex removal, Blood or Curses necro without enchantment stripping, and Mesmers without Hex removal. It happens a lot.
stop typing, isnt there a saying about its better to be quite and thought an idiot then to open your mouth to prove your an idiot?
mending has its uses, yes, but not in pvp, and not when running from perch to drok

Anyone who says stuff along the lines of x build > y build irritates me.

Really, though, why do I run around in CA with a fire ele and keep getting told that earth is better than fire? Could someone tell me why I keep hearing this?

Word of healing is a spell to heal others, not yourself.

You're right!
l must confuse with healing hands (?? I was pretty sure it was word, must confuse with my PVP monk healer, strange).
I letd down the idea to put an elite monk skill in my skillbar as a warrior anyway.

i cant stand ppl that insult at the beginning of fights or ppl that shout at others or me (im monk)for the simple reason that they died.
also, i cant stand ppl that dont like other players just cuz they use certain skills (e.g mending) or certain class combinations (e.g warrior/monk commonly known as whammo) that they dont like. every skill is meant to be use, and so is every classe combination, i dont see why players should be shot ( many ppl say that) for using skills that are very common.
Finally, I agree on the fact that ppl should bring res sig, and i am annoyed when players dont have it ( in CA, TA is another story).

Another peeve of Mine:
People that stack on the monk. Nomatter what.

WHAT WHAT? What noobishness did I just say?

Simple... if their monk is like a boon toucher (My name for someone who is better at keeping themselves alive than the team - usually through boon and spamming of Heal Touch [and other stuff]), and the rest of their team are like nooby Eles with no protection from anything.

Then..DONT just stack on the monk. Espcailly if you dont have any enchant strippers or hexers on your team.

What happens 99% of the time is that monk keeps your entire team busy while the (usually softie) other characters on his team just OMGPWNZOR your entire team, who are busy trying to do any dmg to their monk.

simple fact is - targeting the non-monk characters would drop them in 2 seconds, or keep their monk so busy on 1 guy you could be owning the others..

glountz why dont you bring hex removal? why don't you strip enchantments. i take it you are some sort of warrior.....are you saying that its your job to do all the killin and it's a mesmer's job to make sure you have no hexes on you? it's the necro's job to strip the enchantments off the monk so you can be the uber killer you are?

when i play wammo i bring a res sig. i bring mend ailment(i dont like to be blind). and i sure as hell dont wait for a mesmer to take spiteful spirit off me.

Hey, I'm so uber leet in CA that when I join and someone is using mending I sooooo map out and am like "n00b, y0u is gonna be pwnzored with mending". But the person doesn't repsonds and I think it's cuz they don't knows waht I do bout the pvp, and is using a prebuild and doesn't know any better, but when I think for too long like that my brainz start hurting so I type n00b again but in capital letters to make sure there is no question of my leet skills. Besides, anyone who doesn't know absolutely everything about pvp shouldn't be anywhere in pvp to learn right? And i don't carez about the other 7 people involved in that match, they was probably n00bish too and it wouldn't have been a challenge for me....................you friggen morons.

I play Mesmers all the time in PvP (Shutdown, Engery Denial, And anti melee) and I dont know if your playing them wrong but they ROCK!!!!!!!! Alot of people think both the ranger and Mesmer are inferior classes because most people dont play them. But in reality they are one of the best classes in the game.

Things I learned in CA/TA

E/Mos are the best healers ever. not even a monk can match the healing potention of having 40 more energy than them.

A Wammo's 5 regen healing breeze is ALWAYS better than the monks 9 regen healing breeze.

Just want to show you how OMGPWNZORLEET A Warrior/Ele using all Energy costing skills can be.

Notice that Build? Thats the 1337 secret build they start you with on the Box, Tweaked slightly. I put Frenzy in because that Shield using w/e skill they had was for Losers, I needed for DAMAGE.

I won 4 Rounds in a row, 2 Flawless, using that.
