I was in tombs and we were rollin everyone with our dual mesmer build and we came across this guild team called "Please Mtv Pimp My Guild Hall" or somethin. I saw the name and I thought wow easy battle gg noobs done ROLLED. Then we ran up and saw like 9 monks with ele secondary. We were so confused but charged in anyway since there was fertile and symbiosis down we thought we were fine but NO all the sudden our warrior gets dropped by a perfect spike thru symbiosis and fertile. Then they toyed with us! they waited forever to spike the next person and then left one of us alive and kept ranking and /pointing at us.

anyways besides my anguish... what were they doing? I didnt even see how 6 monks were killing us cause they werent a smiteball and i couldnt even get them below 1/8 damaged.

And if they had 9 monks, I would be very very worried... And no, it's certainly not the "best build ever". Strong, yes.

those guys won in the hall of heros several times, i got a screenie of the wording because i thought it was a dam funny name.

Yah its savages build and its pretty annoying because they have like a million bonds and their spike is pretty sound when they get it off (which is like every hour or two.) They put up fertile + symb iirc because they can spike through it which is annoying for other spike teams. i guess the obvious way to screw it up is cry of frustration as it recharges in time for you to use it on every spike. I'm not sure if they use glyph of concentration though on it? The real issue is killing them, as they dont exactly overwhelm you like blood spike likes to try to, by spiking down everyone within a minute.

EDIT: Maybe take NR too; just for kicks.

I honestly don't see this build as beeing that powerful. From what I've been told it's 7 mo/e's and the last slot changes with every person that I talk to about it

Looking at the numbers 7 mo/e's can deal 94*7 damage max (or 658) - as long as you can interrupt it (2 second cast) they are dealing below the 590 damage barrier - granted I have not seen this build but unles the 8th member is spiking as well it doesn't seem that scary.

- I overheard one person call this build overpowered (which means you'll hear the cries of NERF soon enough

). So I have to ask, is this sort of build powerful because alot of the top players are GvGing instead of HAing?

they use life barrier i beleive

they all spike and it takes forever cuz they let exhaustion wear off, its a holding build and one reason they were toying with you was they were probably timing a hall jump

but the reason this build is good is because its the most invincible build yet played, they are not in much dnager of dying because there are so many healers, its really slow and you pretty much have to time a jump to get to halls, unless you want to play for 10 hours to get to halls.

its a great holding build, similar to blood spike with a spirit spammer and 7 N/Mo except the spike is arguably better and the holding power is much better. If you face them on an altar match dont let them cap and be ready to infuse.

I dont know if i saw that team, but i saw a team winning with 7 Mo/E's 1 Me/R Spirit Spammer. They used Life Barrier as a bond. But also Life Bond. Two Characters had Life Barrier, (one to life barrier the barrier bonder), and they had one with Life Bond to back up when bonder was totally down.

If you think about that, thats very powerful. And in my eyes a well thought build. I especially liked their Me/R Oath Shotter.

wow I just laughed when I saw their name while they were holding halls, but need less to say thats an interesting build. Wonder if it will end up being a new fotm or not, who knows?!

It's an interesting build, but from I've experienced they don't do well in Relic matches.

Fun Fact: We've only lost once, besides in the actual Hall of Heroes, meaning nearly everytime we've pressed enter mission we go on to win halls.

Ok Brother Mhenlo, it is sad to say then but someone else stole your build already then, because it was not a guild team who ran a simular build to you guys. They ran it as I have stated above. But from what I have heard in this thread, you guys got a nice build..

Talking about stealing builds is seriously weak. There is not a build idea that hasn't been thought of a million times before. Just because someone goes on Observer Mode with it, or runs it particularly well and popularizes it, doesn't then make it their build.

Plus, if you really want to get picky, these guys stole Obs Flame monks from n0...
