Default MoR bug rumor

I have heard rumors around the guild observer matches taht Mantra of Recall is bugged. The error is that if you E-drain a person with MoR on them you get the energy from drain and MoR

can anyone confirm/deny/test?

It's not a rumor, it's an actual bug. From what I have heard you have to also be using MoR at the time aswell in order for it to work.

If both you and your target have MoR active, and you strip/drain/rend/remove the enchantment MoR of your enemy, you get the energy from the MoR. Further testing needs to be done as to whether the energy you gain is the same as what you'd gain or what he'd gain from his MoR. Also, whether or not he gets the energy from MoR or just you.

There was a screenshot somewhere that showed a 10 inspiration monk getting "bugged" energy off of the boss monster with MoR. Don't they all have like 16 in the stat?

If they have 16 in the stat, then yes, the energy you gain is based upon your level of inspiration, and not the enemy whom you're draining's level of inspiration. As for whether or not they get the energy or not, we still need further testing.

It's not a bug.

You're draining HIS MoR, which replaces yours. That triggers the skill to give you mana, and then renewing it.

It's just a flaw in the game, wether or not it should be fixed I don't know.

No.

Drain Enchantment
Spell. Remove an "Enchantment" from target foe. If an Enchantment is removed, you gain (Min: 10 - Max: 22) Energy.

Mantra of Recall (Elite)
Elite Enchantment. For 20 seconds, you gain no benefit from it. You gain (Min: 13 - Max: 28) Energy when Mantra of Recall ends.

Interesting info, I expect that the person getting drained would also get the energy, but since when does guild wars work logically?

Can you also confirm that you do get the energy again when your MoR runs out as normal?

What would happen if you had MoR up and you Inspired Enchantment'd somebody else's? Would you lose your original MoR and gain the energy? Or (as I guess it would) you would just end up with two copies of MoR and the original enchantment on you?
