One change I find helpful is to take more advantage of The Warrior side of the ranger, and add in Shields Up.

now that i look at the the warrior more closely yer right but its still not an efficient bar. axe rake is to stop kiting, well thats what sprint is for. distracting is a 5 energy interrupt so is shock, should take the adrenaline intterupt and drop distracting.

in any event i don't like shock warriors anymore anyways i have more success with

eviscerate
executioners
distracting distracting
disrupting chop
tigers fury
sprint
shields up
res sig

good speed of killing, no danger of frenzy, plenty of intterupt power, utility in sprint and shields up, no exhaustion worries

That Shock Axe warrior is fine, pretty standard stuff in tombs. I personally prefer Rush + Bull's Strike to Sprint + Shock, but you do need to interupt the Ghostly in HoH.

rush is worse than sprint because sometimes you wont have adrenaline, if you want to start a sprint when you are holding a relic you can not with rush. You may have a windborn but sprint can help in more sutuations.

distraction blow is like shock in that it intterupts someone and costs 5 energy. but shock does exhaustion and distracting doesn't, so you can use distracting more often. just because shock is standard doesnt mean its the best. besides shock is generally slower than distracting/disrupting if you have TF on.

It IS slower. However the advantage to it, is it can be used to interrupt a ghostly hero through Shield of Deflection AND Spell Breaker.

I know it doesn't apply in this case but often I'll use sprint to break frenzy as well as anti-kiting, and it comes in handy for relics too.

Also when an opponent is crippled with axe rake it can prevent them from being able to get to another target, like a monk or caster.

[edited to elaborate]

Actually, because Rush is adrenal based it is up much more often than Sprint. I can get 4 adrenaline more than once in the 20s Sprint takes to recharge.

It really is a matter of personal preference, they're both great skills and are completely interchangeable imo.

yes, thats true, but if your planning on being a runner sprint might be a better option, as its hard to gt adrenaline while not attacking. But other then that or if you have another runner, yeah, I would say there pretty even.

yeah you are really ignoring the relic runnner part here. or running a ghostly to an altar and body blocking the other ghostly, rush can never help you there. Thats why sprint is more useful. Not how often you use it but when. and since in a balnced team where you are the only warrior it seems logical that you would be the relic runner

1) you remove the diversion isp hex get swapped by diversion.
2) you try to remove diversion but it end/get removed by someone else etc then your isp hex get diverted
