I was thinking if a build centered around Greater Conflagration would be possible. I mean, a team consisting of Rangers (Touch/Thumpers) takes less damage from Warriors (maybe even use the fire resistant armors). As a bonus (not the main goal), the Thumpers can attack a 80 AL Warrior rather than 100 AL. Maybe even throw in an Elementalist with wards. I'm just curious, would this even work?

A build like this already exist somewhat. greater conflagration plus winter will turn all dmg to cold dmg. Then everyone carry mantra of frost. It only works against people who don't kill greater conflagration.

if conflagration wasnt elite, u could have some1 spam it with oath shot ir something but... yea its elite

Nah this build does exist with an oath shot r/me arcane mimicing a w/r who brings greater conflag. It hinges to heavily around spirits though, and dedicating these slots to the build means you have 2 less elites to play with.

Once saw a team using GC+winter (+EW) as bait to use their AOE spells. (a lot of teams will clumb together when they try to get in casting range of something far away).

That was in HA btw... (pretty fun to see a lot of earthquakes, deep freezes and rodgort's that keep hitting 4+ people)
