ive been playing gw for a year now and i love it. but today i ran into a problem, i went to ha to try to start my pvp career. i had no idea what i was thinking lol. nobody wanted anything to do with me. im a good player and i play alot, and i think i should be able to hold my own, but it just wasnt gonna happen. anyways i guess my main point is that i dont wanna give up, i wanna start pvping and learn and get good, but how am i supposed to get going? now i have done alot of random arenas and some gvg, but ive never even tried to get into the big show. im not gonna pay a faction farmer to rank me i think that is kinda retarded-and useless, because when you do get your rank youre not gonna know what to do anyway and everyone will just tear you up for sucking. so are there any good suggestions for me or does anyone wanna take a gamble on helping me?

another thing is why cant anet do something to link unranked players in an area, so they can learn like to rank three or whenever the emotes start? kinda like ascalon arena caps at lvl 10. makes perfect sense to me, especially since they are constantly messing with the pve world.

Don't start at HA. The majority of players there are incredibly bad.

Most rank 3 HA players are just as clueless as rank 0-2 HA players, most spend countless hours IWAYing to rank 3, then IWAY more. They don't want to play to win, they just want to play to win the first 2-3 matches, then repeat for more fame.

I'd reccomend TA to you, build a solid friends list from there, then goto HA with them. Or go with guildies.
