Without skips, how could my necro spike ever get past relic runs
What do you suggest? Make the holding group wait an hour or two before thei fight anyone who "deserves" to get to hoh?

i win relic runs with blood spike and all other kinds of spikes whenever i play them, its not an inherently weak build on relic matches. The build that is inherently weak on relic matches is a degen build

no blood spiek needs skips to get to HoH

to the OP its possible that you won at the right time that you got the hall skip. When halls is not super busy(vast majority of the time these days) and you win at a certain time you will pretty much always skip to the hall of heroes. You can try to skip there its not that hard, your success rate will be >50% if you know what you are doing.

skips are part of the HA experience. got a problem with that, then start playing for the right reasons. Don't fame farm with IWAY try to win and hold HoH witha real build

I only mind skips when I skip to Scarred Earth, and I like skips when I skip past Scarred Earth.

There needs to be a little man at the door that stops all IWAY and Blood spike from getting to halls, ever. This will be followed by 30 minutes in the vault accompanied by an informative lecture on how a lack of creativity leads to boring gameplay and nub players.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but about 95% of the players in HA use a cookiecutter build

Hey, how does blood spike differ from ranger spike in this matter or even any kind of spike? All have the same principle (roughly) but different execution. In blood spike, the spikes arent initially designed to kill, but to wear down and highlight the infuser, and the QZ aids the energy loss massively. That, to me is pretty creative. And, tell me how having 3 monks, 2 mesmers, 2 eles and a shock warrior is in ANY way a "unique build". Before my guild started doing bloodspike i got bored of almost every build, simply because they are overused.
Surge, wards/EQ-AS, migraine, nuker, sb, shock, rc, woh, offering/hexes, spirit spammer, trapper.
These are the most commonly used builds in tombs and almost every team will have quite a few of them, so dont give anyone that stuff about lack of creativity; its universal.

[HUMP], and proud of it

Worst skip sequence:

Match 1) Scarred Earth

MAtch 2) Courtyard

Enough to make anybody cry.

25% = iway
20% = 2 mes builds (surge or migraine)
20% = blood spike
10% = ranger spike
10% = caster spike
1% = eoe bomb
1% = vimway
3% = something interesting

Therefore 97% of people in HA are nubs.

Lol - 25+ 20+20+10+10+1+1+3 = 90%, you copied swordy's figures incorrectly

Therefore, 2 nubs + 90% of tombs players :P

Calculator FTW!

To address earlier posts - I was kidding - far out, relax people! But it is true isnt it, cookie cutter builds are boring to play against all the time and its great to come up against people running creative builds.

Nope. I did not include the 3% because he obviously is not "flaming" the people who did something interesting. That leaves 87% which does not equal his 97%

[HUMP] - We never give up without a spike.

To be honest, I think it's stupid to include "2 mesmer builds" as cookie cutter - those builds often vary their other 2 slots (since you can probably include "Shock Axe" in the description) so that it shows thought has gone into it. If we're going to describe things with such broad strokes, all those builds with "one warrior" or "three monks" - nublets.

bah, type on the iway, that should have been 35%.

Surge and migraine 2 mes builds are nub, and don't forget it. 1 mesmer on 1 target is the nubbiest thing ever - and you know it. Euroway ftl.
