Ritual Lord should be a premade.

Want a simple way to chose the premades? Pick a random selection of GvG battles in observer mode, count up how many characters of each type there was, and make pre-mades of similar idea's. Do it once every 3 months or 6 months, you have a solid premade system that even veterans would use.

Why not?

This is why not: you want some sort of development and learning for players because that is what makes the game enjoyable. You also do not want to further entrench trends because it would really change the pace of the meta game.

The people who need premades to compete are not the ones progressing the metagame

I would like to see the following:

Boon Prot
WoH Monk
A REAL prot monk and not that pathetic thing that's there now
Spirit Rit
Axe Warrior (TF or Shock, either one really)
Ninja (Assassin made to be capable of base soloing - not many "noobs" will be able to run it well even if you give them the build for free)
Crip Shotter
BF/HealParty bot

That's 8 pre-mades that could be plugged into almost any build and allow a player buying the game today to GvG/HoH/TA tonight. Will he be successful at running them? Depends on his skill level as a player. Which is exactly how it should be.

I'd rather see a feature where you can develop your own "personal" premades for quick rerolling classes...
