I prefer furious because you can charge up that KD skill as fast as possible.

More KD = good.

Sundering isnt very good anyway. theres a thread here that proves Vamp gies better damage output than Sundering. If you're going to go with a secondary hammer, use a vamp hammer.

Zealous is okay, but not that good considering a hammer hits slower than an axe or sword.

I use Druids armour, but thats me, i use Druids for all rangers

Note that you want points in Expertise if you're going to be playing a thumper. The whole point of playing a thumper is to spam attack skills, so if you're not investing into Expertise you might as well play a warrior.

12 Beast Mastery
9 Expertise
12 Hammer

The stats should look more like that, IMO. The above poster's skill set is good, although you should check the forums at www.team-iq.net as they tend to have good builds for high lvl PvP.

Also, I generally prefer a Vampiric hammer to a furious, as the +5 damage per hit is quite nice.

should a player, considering gvg and pvp go for a pet/hammer char or a wilderness surivival/hammer char. One will go for expertise/wildy the other will do more beastmastery. IMO I think spaming hammer attacks is good.

I'd say 14 beast 12 hammer 9 expertise is quite a descent attribute spread, as you'll be hitting breakpoints for everything.

I really don't reccomend a Furious mod on your hammer... Thumpers are mainly DPS/pressure, so I'd go with vampiric, and of course a switch weapon. In those 10 hits(12 seconds under TF) it'll take you to get the 1 extra adrenaline, you could do 50 "damage" with your vampiric weapon. You really won't be needing a Zealous IMHO, expertise will take care of your energy. Sundering is crap.

This 14/12/9 is the attribute setup for a ferocious strike thumper. I played with a thumper from [HoT] last night that was using 13 expertise, 12 hammer, 10 beast mastery with backbreaker and run as one. This build was also effective.

So much so that players with that weapon mod should get the boot from my teams. High price on the PvE market != a good weapon mod.
