Default Calling targets question - the how, not the who

Currently in Guild Wars there is a "feature" that when you call a target with Ctrl+Shift+Spacebar and then attack a target that is not that target, your call dissapears.

Is there any good way around this?

I see a couple possible remedies, but none of them seems optimal at all:

- Stop attacking anything to call the target and just bluff around and hope I don't waste too much time not attacking/interrupting/etc. I don't want to stop attacking long, or the whole process slows down. It seems like even the 5ish seconds that I am just running around not doing anything productive could be much better spent.

- Spam the living daylights out of the Ctrl+Shift+Spacebar combo until everyone needed gets the called target, spamming enough that even with dropped calls, everyone will get it eventually. This could be fine, but that 5 seconds or so that I'm just ramming the keyboard until everyone says ok, I could be paying closer attention to things that actually matter, it doesnt seem much better than just not doing anything.

It doesn't seem to slow anybody else down, any tips?

when we run spikes there is normally a target caller (big surprise, i know) and a dedicated char for "saving the calls". normally a char who won't target other enemies like say the order necro in a ranger spike or maybe a bonder or the galer of the target or whatever.

this guy's job is to immediatly call the target the caller called so that, even if the caller goes off target (for example for a gale on an off monk) you still have the target called...

it's quite ugly but nonetheless it works... though if there is a better solution i'd really like to know it...
