Angry Alliance Battles more complicated now.

For those that dont know, when you talk in team chat, you can now see and reply to what the other groups are saying. Now, whats the point in making teams, when were all gonna be talking to eachother and see other teams spam "I'm attacking ----!"? There is no point. It just fills up the team chat, where your own party members messages get flooded with "I'm attacking ----!" I've noticed that both sides are mobbing more and listening to their party less. I'm just asking that we get the option to turn the allies off... i dont want to see their crap.

Yeah, it would be nice if the calls were removed from ally chat...

oh snap Juicey, that made me LOL!!!

I promptly tell over chat to not spam if it happens. I like to call so the other teams know where I am. If we are going for the mesmer shrine on Etnaran, I'll call and the other 8 people know that we are already there and to take another shrine.

On the bright side, it make our teamspeak equipped quads pretty powerful.

To think a 6 month noob will speak so rash.lmao
a little less ego and a little more listening and you might actually learn something.

Anyway. this thread does have a valid point. it is nice that you can find out what they are going to do. This way you at least have some organization.

your main concern is your 4man group. then keeping the enemy surpressed while the shine are taken. once you have several the group need to work together more to eventually leave them shut in their base.

its a good change, but a ton of noobs make this what it is.

No idea on how to currect it porperly.

The call going to all is you dont have voice chat can be helpful imo. When I use it to call someone its because I want nearbys to know this is a monk or mm etc. A pest or dangerous target. Usually though...even if I call and say mm or monk some teams simply attack the warrior

I understand how this can be annoying, but it does have a point.

Sometimes you are going to be attacking with members who are not on your team. If you call a target in such a case, then you want your allies who are not on your team to see and kill your target with you. Hence in situations like that it is beneficial that all allies can see that target call.

I agree, I dont give a F*CK what the hell you're wielding, and I don't give a F*CK what skill you're using. Nobody wants to know.

Get rid of those idiots spamming the team chat.

ok demesis calm down, now the reason is that you don't want to have to say general strats to your enemy, like "Everyone to the hillside!" you don't want to give that order to the enemy but you do want that to get you alliance, I think a new channel may be in order tho, team chat for you four man, and 12 chat(or maybe AB Chat) for your twelve man.

This hasn't been a big problem for me. Even though it's not PvP, you still need to keep track of everything. In no time you'll be able to just filter it mentally. It just takes getting used to. The more "I'm attacking so&so" I see, I just type in 'less kill, more cap.'

Full 12-man chat is essential. If someone is being a dick, it's also essential that you be able to turn it off.

QFT. If the Kurzick's or Luxons are flanking you while their 2 MMs and 3 monks keep 8 to 9 of your team busy (or something else thats slow and nasty holds down 2 groups) you need to know so you can stop fighting and re-cap the control points you are about to lose. if an ally sees this, he doesn't want to use all chat to tell you; he's giving away your strat to the enemy. Likewise, if its 8v8, you're protecting caps and everyone is fighting a bundle of warriors, its nice to be able to target call the monk that is healing them so savy allies can shift focus and help.

But. Last time I checked, you cannot turn ally chat off ever. That means that if some idiot and his friends want to click Shift+F1 for the entire game, you have no choice but to see it while they leech you.

This needs to be fixed.
