Default Icy Dragon Sword

Hi Guys,

The other day I picked up an Icy Dragon Sword of Fortitude pretty cheaply.

It was always my plan to have an elemental weapon of fortitude as part of my PvP arsenal. I had never planned to use an IDS, but I got a very nice price on this sword.

I don't believe its possible to mod such a sword with another damage type (earth for example). I am thinking that it doesn't matter so much that enemies will know I am doing water damage with this sword. But I wanted to run it by the experts before I hit the customize button.

So anyway, here is the question after the long winded into:::: Is an IDS a good choice for a warrior that wants to deliver elemental damage in PvP?

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,
pin

Yes, the only time I find myself using Elemental Weapons is against warriors so the element doesn't really matter. Go ahead and customize it.

An elemental mod is good to use against other Warriors and Monks with Judges Armor.

Works fine as a backup sword to your main vamp/zealous ones.

yeah, go for it dude. Icy dragon swords, elemental weapons in general, are a nice back up weapon in gvg for attacking warriors, and just switching to you if your running around not doing anything so you don't get vamp/zealous penalites.
