Guessing from your name, you're a fat, stupid kid sitting on his computer hiding from the world and whose only goal in guild wars is to make fun of iway. (I just made it up, since obviously you made up the comment about my name).

@ Almighty, there's no need to make this personal. I don't like IWAY, that doesn't make Yuna a bad person. Those posts close threads.... kthxbaigg

IWAY Tactics:
Necros: Spam OoP, OoA and Heal Party, Giggle at infinite energy.
Warriors: C-Space, Hit Things, Use Interrupts as if they did damage so you can randomly interrupt something you didn't even mean to, Eviscerate, Executioners, Run to Necros to get healed if necessary, hit IWAY when someone dies
Ritualist: Spam spirits, Don't own yourself with ritual lord (I'm sure 99% of you don't have a clue what I'm even talking about, if that's the case, don't think too hard you might hurt yourself.)
Ranger: Trap Necros, Spam spirits, Oath shot an enemy who conveniently doesn't have a single enchantment on him because OoA isn't underpowered.
All: Use your res signet

Whoa, that was much more than I originally thought, fortunately enough you don't even have to be looking at the screen to do 90% of them!!! Just blindly hit the buttons and you should be fine. But oh wait, won't the other team own your 4 warrior gank on one character with all those enchantments they can stack on him?!!?! Oh yeah, OoA, those don't matter.....
Oh, I admit you have some valid points. I thought it was common forum knowledge that if someone doesn't post a disagreement about it, they agree with it. I guess I was jumping to conclusions by assuming people knew that, my mistake.

Allow me to provide you with tactics for your favourite build.

Use read the wind*
Move in range of a target
Caller calls the target
Other spikers press t
Caller says 3
Necro puts up orders
Caller says 2
Caller says 1
Rangers press dual shot
Rangers press savaage shot
Repeat

*Read the wind doesn't need to be used before every spike. This skip may be skipped usually, only use it when RtW is running out.

Boy, that was difficult wasn't it? Yes, I know theres more to r-spike then this, but low and behold maybe theres more to IWAY then what you said. You haven't played in a good IWAY group, so you wouldn't know.

You told me to see dgtboys post, which argued that spike takes no skill. Whatever, I misread a post once, no need to make low comments like that.

I wouldn't say my groups are "magical" but they are argueable more sucsessful than most IWAYs (we can pull in 200+ fame in a good run) and perhaps might give you some insight of the tactics required in IWAY.

Please guys, lets not try to get personal here. I misread a post so I'm suddenly retarded. I apologize for not being perfect, please accept my apologizies. llsektorll hates iway and its players but I don't see how that relates to his weight o0. Still waiting for the close from JR.

i dont hate iway its just something that the newbies should run to get some experience about HA... we should have to see r9 groups still running iway.. lets get practical... spike has a bit more things that can go wrong that iway... iway is an easier build to run than spike... balance is the best of both worlds... and no one can talk trash about dualsmite cuz most of top20 run it...

but i gotta agree on the quote.... whats it gotta do with my weight?

No, fool. Thats not what happened. Let me show you. First off, Sue ann got stuck off away from the team, because off ward against foes and KDs like shock. (SB him, anyone?).

The green represents where the group is. The yellow is the line of enemy body blockers. The red circle is their ward against foes.

But thats not really relating to me. I'm just showing you that the team has good bodyblocking abilities and massive KDs to prevent a target from running through. This should of be a hint that your idea to leeroy jenkins through their team and hope to get through might not of been the best idea.

Now heres where me (and clariece) get stuck. We got stuck at the same time so I don't where your getting this BS that I ran back and got stuck o0.

The red line represnts the path you wanted us to go through. The red circle again represents the ward against foes. The yellow circle is the enemies balled around us. The blue circle is myself and clariece who got stuck in. They had massive KDs so it could of been anyone that got blocked it, even yourself. It wasn't the lack of skill that got us blocked in, more the enemies massive ability to block us in due to KDs and whatnot. You, being the caller, should of seen this and not made such a stupid call, but you did and that lost it for us.

But spike can cover up those mistakes with its massive defense, similar to how IWAY's massive offense can cover up a few mistakes made there. I guess that makes them equal? Yes, balance is the top and I'm not bashing that.

Should have figured you'd leave out the other 4 characters in the build, I mean two of them are monks, who am I to think that an IWAY player knows anything about the trying task of monking without soul reaping. Energy management? What's that? Channeling I'm sure means nothing to you because the only mesmer skills IWAY is familiar with are Migraine, Resolve and Distortion

Seeing as the last however many posts have been flames of some sort or another and the topic at hand is Why IWAY dominates halls let's reach some sort of collective conclusion and say that IWAY dominates becuase:
It is easy to assemble and easy to run
The skills and principles behind the build are basic
There is no spike so vent/TS is anything but a requirement
Order of Apostasy provides an effortless counter to warrior hate enchantments
Soul Reaping allows for quite literally infinite energy with the Ritualist and Ranger spamming spirits
IWAY is a build, and for the people who run it well, it is, brace yourselves I'm going to say it, a well thought out build.
Unfortunately the principles that drive the build to success don't require much skill or effort in doing so.
Beating a nubtrash R3 or R6 IWAY with ease is no indicator to your ability to do the same to a guild team who knows full well exactly what they should be doing. I'm not trying to demean or diminish what you guys do (MATH and all the other "good" IWAY guilds) I'm just frustrated with the fact that the build is so easily ripped off and relatively successful no matter who runs it. The best way to judge who's the better team running the same build is obviously a 1 on 1 in which case you mow through R0-R8+ IWAY groups as if they've never played GW before.

What it all boils down to is that IWAY victories are directly related to the amount of time OoA is up through the course of a fight; and until OoA gets a radius nerf IWAY won't be going anywhere.

When I get into ID1 it makes me sick to see all of these people "Fame Farming" their way to ranks that will inevitably misrepresent their overall playing ability. Feel free to bash me for playing RSpike or BSpike or whatever other builds you may deem gimmicky.

Bottom line is whatever you may think about what I know or how well I can play the game because I play in RSpike groups doesn't change the fact that I get 5-10+ PM's a day from people asking me to come infuse for them, let alone monk or fill a slot for this or that. What you think about yourself helps you out a little but it's about how others perceive you at the end of the day.

Mods get my vote for a close on this too.

Yunas, the sad thing is SB does not protect you from knockdowns such as shock (its a touch skill, not a spell), however, stability would have provided protection.

Yunas I just said the mods should lock this post because all it is is flame after flame and petty arguments but after seeing this, I must ridicule in hypocrisy, you're exemplifying a true IWAYer of classic IWAY stupidity

Case in point:
SB doesn't work against Shock, it's a skill not a spell. Thanks for trying balanced though, stick with what works for you in the future.

They had 1 shock, with its 10 sec re-cast thats not gonna keep a target knocked down much. They were also spamming gale. Thanks. If you and your 6 buddies think you saw me run back and get stuck, more power to you. But I know I got stuck while running out WITH clariece. We were running at the same time. I didn't go back.

Read please: "KDs like shock". Thats implying there were many KDs and that SB would of prevented those. Mentioning shock and then saying sb anyone after was a bad positioning of wording. I should of said "KDs like shock and gale spammers (SB anyone?)".

Owned? I jsut wasn't clear. Shock was a bad example as they only had 1 of it but I know for a fact they had at least 2 gale spammers.

Yunas, I didn't want to say what the others did - that is, if you ran balanced or other builds you would have known shock is unaffected by SB because I did not want to humiliate you. Anyways, if they had gale spammers, you should have mentioned that in the first place and saved yourself from this public humiliation. Sorry buddy, sometimes you have to let go of the anger. I know its frustrating when trying to defend IWAY on a public forum when there is so much hatred towards it, perhaps you shouldn't try.

And what's IWAY? It has been flavor of all months. And only reason why people play this NR/Tranq builds is cause of the IWAY. Game is starting to be limited so badly just cause of IWAY. I'm not saying it isn't fun to play IWAY,it is. But playing it all the time means you're just going for fame or you don't know how to play anything else. I played it twice, won halls, got bored of it. It does require skill, but skill that every rank 3+ player has.
