I would say...Frenzy in GvG/HA and Tiger's Stance in RA. This is because a lot of times you don't have a Monk on your team in RA, therefore you would not want to get yourself killed with Frenzy. In GvG/HA, there should be Monks that can catch you if you're dying.

Also, it is important that if you do use Frenzy, make sure to bring a cancel-stance in case you're getting hit badly.

true, but then you don't have the flesibility sprint allows, which usually isn't necessary, but still nice to have. Especially if your build isn't too flexible.

One of the biggest advantages of an IAS is the ability to quickly adrenal spike a target before monks can react. When looking at reaction times, the difference between Eviscerate + Executioners with and without an IAS is massive, and gets even larger when you start using a hammer.

Beserker's Stance does not allow you to use skills while its active, and thus it's ineffective as a GvG IAS.

On topic: If I'm hitting a target with an IAS, especially in a spike, there's a good chance they'll get some kind of prot, which will switch off my IAS when I fail to hit. Likewise, Tiger's Stance is screwed up by basic stuff like Aegis, Blindbots, and Ward Against Melee. Almost every team runs one of these things, and you don't want to lose your IAS because of it.

Meanwhile, the drawback of Frenzy is negated by smart play. If you get spiked down in Frenzy it's usually a play mistake on your part.

The only place I'd run Tiger's Stance over Frenzy is on some kind of NPC-soloing gank character. Being able to solo NPCs without taking a bunch of extra damage makes Tiger's Stance more attractive.

I often play hammer warrior in gvg.

I usually run frenzy but i keep that skill ( and sprint ) for spiking.

If you have to the limit in your bar ( and pretty much all adre spikes has it ), you really dont need to spam frenzy to build up adre.

I dont like Tigers stance for the reload and for the fact it ends if you fail to hit.

Concerning TF, I would rather run it on a axe or sword warrior with zealous haft.

If I see a Warrior adren spiking without an IAS there is nothing much more fun than hitting his Eviscerate with a Distracting Shot.

Even with an IAS it is still possible but just a little more difficult since there is less window. Eviscerate, crushing blow, devastating hammer, backbreaker, gash, and final thrust are all favorite skills of mine to hit with distracting shot. Ranger interrupts are some of the most flexible skills in the game as to what you can do with them

Frenzy > Tiger Stance just don't be a complete n00bzor cancel it out with a stance such as sprint or rush if you start taking heavy damage and run back a little. PvE take Tiger Stance or hell just take Flurry.

I use Flurry in AB, where its near impossible to get a good Spike. With +45HP, -2 dmg shield, its a good, safe, quick apply self buff that gives good Adreniline dividends with the Shock/Shove combo I'm still tinkering with.

Keep in mind. I only use Flurry in AB. Just sayin: no skill is without its use.

On topic. Frenzy for PvP; its a no brainer imho. Tigers Stance is a good PvE skill, but the countermeasures for Mellee (and their effectivness) increase about 5 fold when fighting human players. Not just Block/evade, but Blind and a mirad of "miss" hexes from Blurred Vison to Price of Failure that can ruin Tiger Stance's appearant advantages.

Frenzy and Sprint synergize much better than the average Warrior will ever use them. Using Frenzy, You're all about how much damage you can do. But when targetting swaps to you, you need to protect yourself, and get out of there fast. See Sprint; a run buff that lets you do just that, with the side effect of dropping Frenzy's "recieve double damage" condition in the bargain. Run out so they swap targets, heal sig, run back into the fray (sprint drops around this point, making it time for you to re-apply Frenzy and get back to smacking ppl) and you'll find a nice rythm every 20 seconds cycling through damage, retreat, and heal.

Tiger's Stance is Tank mentality; the "I can stand here and take anything you throw at me...zomg rez!" seen too often in PvE. Outside of farming, it serves little to no purpose.

Perhaps the second funniest thing next to healing an ele who had used "burning speed."

Right there is your problem: shock=exhaustion, shove=no adrenaline and no eviscerate. For chain KDs, it has to be hammer; my personal favorite combo for AB and arenas is Devastating->Crushing->Fierce->Hammer bash.

Frenzy may seem like a bad idea at first, but it is the most effective IAS with practice.

@Byron: the Shove build is still prototyped, so I know she's got issues. one of the biggest issues with it is that upon applying Shove, all non-attack skills are disabled for 6 seconds (regualrly). Kicking Frency up before Shove application is a death sentence because, for at least 6 seconds, i have no way to Stance swap it off. Kicking it up afterward is a waste for the combo. Flurry can be used as a safe IAS applied at the same time Shove is hit, allowing you to mitigate some of the Elite skills second nerf: lose all adreniline upon skillcast.

In all honesty, the biggest problem with my Shove build is its Elite. Call me sentimental; I just don't wanna let er go without trying.

Back on topic: seriously, no reason to bring Tigers into PvP. If you want to try different Adrenal gaining skills give To the Limit a whirl. If you want consistent IAS, learn Frenzy. Even with the armor nerf, its your best bet.

I look at Tiger stance with way of the fox for synergy. Bad part is you lose your speed buff which is a must have.

I'd take frenzy in the end.
