Question damage of warrior skills really balanced ?

i have been actively playing my monk in pvp for many many hours now and i start thinking that warrior skills do a little too much damage/or the abilities of the warrior in a whole are able to deal too much damage.

i usually spend my time in alliance battle or random arena. i dont like the big groups in gvg etc.

at a skill of 16 the common criticals with irrisistible blow for 100-130 (with 20% armor penetration), eviscerate for 100s or watching final thrust for 170 points blink in red above me because protective spirit wore off 1 second before seem or feel out of bounds to me.

in comparison i hardly fear elementalists at all. usually with long cast time big nukes they are not as much of a threat to me.
or sometimes i watch mesmer/ele who spam fast small flares/stone daggers. ( yea, yea kinda noobish maybe ) not that big of a deal either.

all of this doesnt feel close at all to the damage that a warrior deals to me even WITH protective spirit on me.
with attack speed increasing skills and their good critical chance i usually get
hurt really bad in a very short time frame.
with protective spirit and guardian on me i can usually hold my ground for a while but i usually run out of energy in the long run even with, for example, mantra of recall for energy management and sooner than later if he is lucky with an interrupt.

is this really intended ? is a monk not supposed to be able to heal the damage he takes from 1 decent spiking warrior in the long run ?
why do warriors get high damage dealing ability, the ability to interrupt, high damage mitigation AND the skills to run away?

Counters?
blindness: wa/mo can bring condition remover.
cripple: see above ( pin down weee 15energy poof )
probably best counter: hexes and lots of them. degeneration nice. ethereal burden yay.
but how far are you going to kite ? you have to stay near your team.

thoughts, arguments?

[leave your trolling and comments about whining elsewhere]

Cause they are supposed to be the main damage dealers in a team.

Want my opinion ? Your monking sucks. Warriors are easy to counter.

If you are monking in AvA and TA battles, the only viable monk builds in these arenas WITHOUT support (namely drawing conditions from another player) is a MoR boon prot with contemplation of purity.

Warrior damage and assassin damage itself is balanced right, critical damage is fine also. I think deep would is a bit too powerful at 20%, and would prefer 15% instead but thats minor.

The key with boon prot builds is that, you don't need to have divine boon up all the time and you need to be aware of warriors and assassins and pre-guardian and protective bond / spirit yourself. Blame your team for not taking warrior hate such as snares, blinds, hexes, wards. If your team can't play as a team then hey... its not the class, build ... but the player.

Location: "Pre-nerf" is incorrect. It's pre-buff.

This is where people start shouting: "ZOMG COUNTER THEM".

Yeah, Guild Wars is ALL about the warrior. Constant, undisputable dps with the least counters than any other class. The conditions are too easily removed and the most hexes are either too costly or have pathetic durations. In fact, warriors were the only class capable of removing stances in Prophecies which says a lot for balance.

Lol.

warriors can remove stances cause they are next to their target, that's all.

Wouldn't it be weird to see as mesmer removing a stance thanks to his wand ?

Warriors are not overpowered cause you can't use them for defense ( or almost not ). And that's something you can do for every other class except assassin( eles yith wards, hp and other crap ; same for necro + blood ritual ;fertile/symbiosis on a ranger ; aso )

Warriors damages are very easy to counter :

guardian, blind, prot spirit, hexes ( And don't say they don't last long enough, they might just be removed fast and that's why you have to carry others hexes ), snares, kiting, wards.

Watching how the warriors move prevents like half of the damages, in gvg and in tombs. If you can't manage that, you'll probably get killed a lot.

i want to ignore your obvious lack of reasoning and your weak minded accusation to ask a question that i find very interesting in GW.

why do most of the top guild builds at the moment include 2 warriors/thumpers or whatever other warrior-skill-damage-dealing build?

they are "supposed to be the main damage dealers in a team" but they "are easy to counter" ? i dont think so.
i think they are the easiest to support and hardest to counter damage-dealing-class in the long run in this game because there just isnt a reason why else 8vs8 builds rely on them so much.

i'll ask again. please prove me wrong? if this is wrong why isnt a necro spike, ranger spike, spirit spam or whateverZOMG!!11one11 other build at #1 in the ladder.

if this is intended ok fine. thats the way its supposed to be then.
warrior/healer/support is the way to go in every similar RPG game there has ever been. question answered thanks for your interest.
