yeah bit of Brehon bashing going on here that's just ridiculous. Terrific player (in HA only) in some classes. Relies very heavily on his monks (frenzy using the cookie cutter assassin combos is a bit crappy), but overall he is a talent. At least he hasn't spiked his way through............

So, if no one player can be the best in tombs, what is the point of this thread?

For all of the people wondering what this Brehon assassins stuff is about. He runs the normal monk backline with three choking gas rangers to shut down the other teams offensive casters and prot monk. The last two spots are filled by a damage caster (I have seen him use a fire ele, but he tends to vary it) and then himself as an assassin warrior. He then spams frenzy and becomes basically a one man spike. We laugh at it, but a frenzy assassin is the highest DPS in the game atm. What makes him good is his ability to avoid damage/choose his targets using rush/sprint (?) and AoD. The team build is very easy to run for the most part, but the assassin is what makes it work and is extremely difficult to play.

Super Secret Squad played Brehon when he was first running this build and after a 20 minute battle, we won (although I would not say the better team one, they just happened to crack first). On the next run we played Deer (before they sold out) copying the exact same build. They fell in about 3 minutes because their assassin couldn't pull his weight. I mention this because it is a testament to how good Brehon is at assassin. His on field awareness is astonishing.

Any good warrior used in balanced builds can play assassins.

Really? I would say any good midline caster used in balanced builds can play assassins. Actually the best assassins I know have mezmer or ele has their primary character. The combination of light armor and general attitude towards assassins (every time I gvg with one, they are the first target at the flag stand), the assassin is more about kiting like a midliner than charging in to apply pressure.

to the OP:
eBay more please. Any rank 12 player who earned his rank 12 properly knows what convert hexes is. Don't even try to fool us.

the dialog up to this point goes something like this:

me: can you take convert hexes, shadow strike, [rest of bar]?

learn guildwars ktxbai

PS: he had to unlock it...

Firstly, it's Brehon.

Secondly, I doubt you could even play half as well as him.
