Anet has killed a potential "iway" fotm build. what i mean is they d/a exhausting+sand shards build. Whatever u may feel of it i must pay homage to this build since it has touched us ever so briefly. May u rest in peace, for i will never forget how u allowed me to lead a group of mostly r0s to winning several (5+? lost track) in a row.

it could've been iway, is what he's saying. "iway" is quoted. Like that. see? now you know to read more carefully.

Sand Shards use to read "when you miss with an attack, all nearby foes take X damage". So you go Dervish/Assassin (or vice versa), hit Way of the Empy Palm to make all dual and offhand attacks free and spam Repeated Strike.

Since you did not do a lead attack, Repeated Strike missed and triggered Sand Shards AND recharged instantly. Makes for one hell of an AoE Illusionary Weaponry.

Sand Shards now reads "when you miss with a scythe attack, all nearby foes take X damage".

i have to say that sand shards wasn't nerfed.
it was more of a fix because i doubt anet could have predicted and allowed such a flaw to exsite.
in other words anet didn't make the game that unbalenced on-purpose.

how about saying that it could've been a potential "dual smite"?

I said it coulda been the next iway because this build took no skill to ran (otehr than teaching a bunch of nubs basics like balling and timing). Dual smite actually takes coordination.
