I was on my 1st run barragin a shrine, and clean out the npc's and we capped it, then i got teh phone ring, so went afk for 30 secs....my team had run off to cap teh next shrine and i was been touched by a R/N so obviously i bailed out, threw down caltrops, and backed off....whilst popping him with arrows...

He never actually made it to me to touch me but never gave up trying, and i beat him down with JUST bleeding(sharpen daggers) and regular arrows and the occasional barage for fun

The responces i got from him and his team were as follows:
"take you piece of **** farmin build back to pve you noob"
"omg an assassin, you suck"
"jees whats a sin doin with a bow"
"my ranger does more damage"
" *** you, you ******* *******, im gonna **** your.....blah blah blah"

I mean omg what could i say back to that :O other than "if my "farming build sucks so bad how come you couldnt hit me, let alone hurt me?" and "your a touch ranger, im not stupid enough to let you actually touch me!"

The mentality of a lot of AB'ers really leaves a lot to be desired, why cant people jusy say GG or well done, show some class .....i know im preaching to the converted here

but still, why all the agro from them...

You should be proud you have some intelligence compared to those fools out there in the game. These type of people are the same type of people who probably think the world is flat and that the moon is made of cheese.

Don't worry about them. Judging from their sense of logic, they are failures at life. I bet they can't figure out how to open a can of soda.

Well I thought ab was alot of fun in the preview all this stuff was not an issue. Then they release the game and it's all a bunch of whinney babies blaming everyone else for anything that goes wrong. It has become the 12 year old noob calling fest of the game.

I've seen alot of crazy stuff in AB chat

The funniest is when you get the obligitary cocky person on the luxon side, when one of us (Kurzick) decides to screw around with their heads. Hilarity ensues.

We actually managed to get 1 luxon to stay in his base the entire match screaming about us.

Snipious got backfired cause I was using blackout and distortion in my cripple/poison build.

why do people mob fight( off topic i know) the first time you do AB you learn you need to cap, or you should. i dunno maybe you have the iq of half a skin cell.

(back on topic) i, being a monk, kite alot. a degen mesmer was hittin on me, so i over extend him for a bit. in allchat he says, and i quote "quit running pu**y." unquote. my team gets to him and kills him. so i say "why you running? dont talk crap if you cant back it up" i love it when idiots get whats coming to them

It's funny how many people don't get the importance of capping. It's also funny how, when having the lead about half way through, people all of as sudden decide that they don't need to cap anymore!

I was playing in the early evening last night on the Kurzick side. We'd get ahead something like 300 - 240 with 4 or 5 shrines, and *poof* everyone's brains shut down and we'd end up losing by 75 - 100 points! That happened 5 or 6 times in a row!

Nothing useful comes out of full ally chat, in fact i recommend no chat be allowed between luxon and kurzicks because its only foul... (444) is only time i communicate with teamates in chat with the occasional 'spread out' to other groups

i never say gg but dont get pist when i get owned, but its funny when i own someone and they scream at me. So, i start screaming at them(do unto other as you wish they would do unto you), and then they hunt me and they get owned again (axe w/n vim build ftw in ab, or my infinite survival, dealing 0dmg a hit build that ill never post!)

people say that quadruple teaming someone is part of playing in a "team" but i find that "team" work is a joke when someone (myself) is running randomly around on the jade in saltspray and out of nowhere eight (yes eight) luxons come charging in from two directions and kill me 8v1.

i see this as not teamwork, but as being complete noobs on the other team's part, not even having the decency to atleast quadruple team me, let alone give a fair 1v1 fight. (my team was dead except for me)

also, i'd like to point out that it is NOT "pwnage" and does not give the right to call someone a "noob" if you kill them, or they kyte, when they are low in health, while you are full, and you attack them.

I agree with fallot. There's nothing decent about war. It's not about being honorable.

You run out alone and can't escape eight enemies, well, you should die.

Mind you, on some battles that loss will get your team the win (if you are distracting the entire enemy team while the rest of your own team does it's thing, great!)

I agree with what most people have put in this thread regarding alliance battle local chat it's more of an irratation than anything else.

Although the last 5 games I played 3 out of 5 the Luxon(enemy) were reasonably hospitible towards us. There was alot of gg and we replied with good job Luxons.

Then of course there's always the next game where some moron insists on trying to goad us into starting a text war by gloating their victory.

Some games pan out that way and it can be down to simple fact of just not having the right profession balances or the group not coordinating attacks to repel the enemy.
