You know from looking at the skill list and the damage numbers it seems that Paragons have the potential of being a monstrous ranged damage dealer. Skills with short recharges and high +damage + bow class damage on a 1.5 sec recycle? Support class my ass!

Swing a few more times. It's abundantly clear that that's wrong.

Well, according to guildwiki it hits a max of 3 people. From personal experience, it hits in a arc in front of you, but tahts just me.

A few questions :

What's the bow-equivalent arc of spears ? (longbow, flatbow, ...)
Does FW affect spears ?

Spears seem pretty easy to dodge..

The next person to say that R/P spear attack spammers are 'spikers' gets pistol-whipped.

Pretty sure anyone with any common sense at all who tried out that premade had the same idea... Please don't try to make blatantly ludicrous claims.

What are those D/Mos running? I don't think I've seen that build before.

Well, partly wrong. It does require adjacentness to target, but it can definitely hit enemies behind the dervish.

Honestly, I'm having a hard time understanding how this was considered balanced. Powerful, spammable PBAoE skills and a PBAoE cripple to go with that, a 25% speed +40armor buff, crazy e-management in the form of mysticism, and powerful hex+condition removal as a result of all those powerful enchants and their interaction with CoP.

If this isn't broken in PvP (and the millions of D/Mo's in HA + The Spearmen's jump from rank ~200 to rank 16 shows otherwise), it'll definitely roll every single mob and their dog in PvE.

Yup that part of my statement was unclear. So to clear up:

Scythe attacks hit anyone 'adjacent' to both you and your direct target.

As far as the dervish builds, mysticism in general is going to have to see some serious tweaks IMO.

Thumbs down

Actually its even worse than that... 33% speed boost not 25. At 16 mysticism, thats about 64 seconds of Avatar form.

At 16 mysticicm you gain 48Health and 8 energy for each enchantment lost. I guess ANET thinks the counter to this is a skill called Chilbans.....

Let me see, a horribly overpowered defensive class is introduced to the game which turns battles into long drags (Binding Ritualist). Instead of fixing the real problem with that class, we are introduced to a class that is supposed to overpower that.... problem is by doing so, such a class will overpower everything else.

Hmm, so solution to the crappy Ritualist dragging matches on forever is to buy Nightfall and use a Dervish.

Chilblians helps them, they LOVE losing enchantments. It is their energy management.
