I thought i said it in my original post: i only want people dominating (-ed) Tombs with balanced type builds. And Noble Savage was not one of those.

Also, no one has blasted anyone so no need for warnings.

I don't understand why you would distinguish between a spike build and a balanced build player. What makes the acheivements of the spike build player less important?

people hate losing to spike, so they think that It's not "real playing". Same goes for Iway.

I personally love any build where I can play ranger in HA, so I'm all about r-spike/b-spike. (never Iway because I rarely win playing Iway)

p.s. When I first saw this thread's name, I desperately wanted to post a message saying "your mom". Is that wrong of me?

Well, weve all (at least once) won halls with a spike build without much trouble. Winning with a balanced build is slightly harder, so I just want the players that did so te be honoured here.

Has anyone else noticed that Noobs Took Halls [WTF] has been consistently winning halls all of this week? Anyone know what build they are running?

Kuja, in case the first thing that you read on everyone's post isn't their in-game name and guild, this is Tommy. I think you know me a little better than to call me romO. And yeah, I don't mean to bring GvG into this build when people don't understand the generalizations that they're making, it's rather frustrating, and I would rather annoy and educate people rather than be BFF and ignorant.

Ille is playing more DOTA than GW these days, and I guess one of the primary reasons is that he doesn't have Factions and usually only plays on friends' accounts. They had a number of reasons to make iB, but looking at their performance through the GWFC, I wouldn't question the decision.

Wait... So honour the players that aren't playing to win?

Not seeing it?

[EDIT: And I changed the name because it had very little to do with the actual thread topic.]

So just cause we don't play spike we're not playing to win? I kicked so many spikes out of halls I can't even count it anymore. Even Blood Spike 1v1.
And BTW someone said they're not using vent? Maybe rank 3 korean groups aren't using vent, but these guys are. And when they're not using vent, they're all in cyber caffe so you get the same thing.

I wasn't agreeing with his opinion, just putting myself in his shoes to question his logic.

He claims it is easier to win with spike, and yet dislikes people who run it. Why would any competitive player not run a build that got you easy wins?

As for my opinion on the matter; I see spike and balance on pretty much an equal level. Both have advantages and disadvantages.

keep the names coming...

and yes Brehon knows what he is doing (but he isnt r15)

Noble left ???? oooooooo havent been playing enough....(he was spike though so you can't name him)

And represent [prez] ^^
The Noble Savage has "dominated" halls whether he did it spiking or not. I think he is a great caller and a great player. The build he always played was creative and original, regardless if it was a spike or not. I said miss ya kid cause he disappeared for a while from Guild Wars, but I just talked to Noble the other day, glad he's back.

I play a build in which i enjoy and where i can have fun (of course i want to win AND have fun),you can win easier with spike, but you have no fun at all with it (at least I don't). When I say spike i mean pure spike builds, like 3-2-1 spike etc. Adrenaline spikes and stuff like that is still fun and you still need to shut down their offense or their monks and do stuff between spikes (not just read the wind -_-).
