There team is... busy...

Its random arenas, they aren't very organized anyway. And I bring along distortion, and sometimes hex breaker, to give myself some cover.

Either you're really good or they're really bad or both.

If you really wanna pwn boonprots just take an MoR dom mesmer or a GoR dom mesmer. Very little utility, but spamming diversion every 5 sec with a bunch of energy taps and shatter/drain enchants along with it shutsdown most boonprots in a flash.

I was actually able to add ~10 DPS for stretches of many of the matches with my staff, because I had so little healing to do.

While either of the assassins can "bust up a boon", one of their skillbars was much more suited to do so as the other one messed over another priority target. Of course, we could always swap their roles for a given battle if need be to adjust to certain skills on the monk's bar.

We had 3 matches on the kill count map that were just absolutely insane and new records for me in TA:
17-0 and 15-0 and 15-0

Time for me to outfit Zev 790 (Lexx ftw), my PvE assassin, and start to practice using it in PvP...

Heh, I've only played in a 4 monk team once a long time ago having all Mo/R involving traps, pets, smite, and some moderate healing. While hilarious and amusing, it was ineffective against good teams. Then there was the blessed light monk, ritualist, and 2 backbreaker monks build that [Eat] has used in TA operating as a high damage spike build with a very large armor ignoring component. This one was effective and still worth a lot of laughs...
Is there anything unusual about these Assasins, or are they standard Horns/Falling/Twisting builds? My curiosity has been piqued.

well...after about 20 or 30 wins we like to run them completely naked...that's pretty special. We even won a match like that

Assuming what we played was it, I know that at least of them is a shovesin with fox fangs, horns, falling, twisting maybe, disrupting stab, and I'm assuming the other one is fairly similiar.

You should be able to take out an average boon prot (depending obviously on your skill level) with a simple shock war build. I know I have done it numerous times.

We have yet to win naked with the 2 assassins. The big problem fighting naked with 2 assassins is that they have to get up in the face of an opponent to unleash their combo. In addition, energy is a killer without armor having only 2 pips of regen (actually just 1 pip of regen due to zealous daggers) and having just 12 in critical strikes makes it very difficult to use their combo often.

When we were running a cripshot and a shock axe is when we actually won a match against a warrior, mesmer, water/fire mixed ele, and a monk. I just kept their warrior crippled (while our trapper kept him blind) and interrupted the ele like mad. The mesmer was not nearly as much of a threat when fighting naked due to armor ignoring damage from energy surge/burn and empathy.

the combo runs as follows:

On the Assassin you discribed above:

shove, falling spider, twisting fangs, disrupting stab, fox fangs, horns of the ox, wild blow, res sig.

It's actually the assassin build I designed way back when I used to do AB's before they were ruined. Although I would sub out wild blow and res sig with either dash or death's charge and res sig with a self heal. The other assassin is a modded version.

Anyways the build is totally front loaded, and our matches rarely last longer than 1:06. Highly offensive and massive counter to people either trying to counter our build or running a silly hybrid of it, not that they gave us many issues before, but this just disposes of them much quicker.
