1. Beating a well known, high ranked fan of spike builds with a Henchway..while I ran an uber-l33t Life Barrier bonder.

2.Losing to a henchway with a rank 6+ bloodspike group, which I had won the halls with earlier.

3. A three way on the Courtyard consisting entirely of henchway teams, which ended in an EoE bomb before anyone capped the alter.

Henchway makes for some fun times..

My favorite would be from an HA match that had lasted well over 30 minutes, and showed no signs of stopping. Eventually we mutually decided to hinge our fates on a winner take all game of rock paper scissors. A game we happened to win through the judicious use of a Rock-Rock-Rock power combo.

I still have screenies from that match, and it easily remains my greatest PvP memory.

Scoring over 300 damage with an executioner's strike on a R/W in random arenas who had been using frenzy/heal signet (but then he died).

-once when i joined a new guild and i did GVG with them and we faced the guild that I had just left a few hours earlier Yeah, they did recognize my name cuz I didnt go quietly..
Anyway there was a bunch of error07's and it went down to something like 6 vs. 5. We edged them in VoD but the new guild wasnt great either didnt stay long with them.

-when I went into RA as a boon prot and got put on a team with 3 mending wammos and we somehow won 10 in a row

Can't be a favorite pvp moment then =(

I had a similar experience with alliance battles, doing them with all alliance members in all 3 teams.. we completely rolled over the opposing side something like 500-40

Running AoE Smite with Mo/R's (Pokeway basically) and beating a few decent teams. Even though we ran it as a joke

Losing 499-500 In an alliance battle, then having our number go to 515(after the timer to map us back due to us losing had started) while luxons stayed at 500... haha.

First time me and guildies ran Fast cast Rodgorts spike (back in feb or so i think) we spiked down 4 people at once, then proceeded to spike down another 3. While the other ran to the furthest part of the burial grounds map ><

Winning halls and holding the alter for about 3 mins using a build with no holding power at all.

1) Watching ppl kill themselves with Spiteful Spirit ~ 1k and a skill point

2) Destroying 3 tanks and a mesmer in AB with my 55 monk ~ roughly 55k for runes and cesta (mine is old skewl, back when runes were expensive)

3) beating Temporal Threshold with a thrown together 10 minute iWAY team with no TS/Vent and a very noob taint necro. ~ priceless

My favorite happened last night. I was in random arena and got stuck w/ two other w/mo's and a w/ele. We thought that we were gonner's. So two of them logged off leaving me and another. idk what happened, but we seemed to have done something right because the build that they were with didn't do much. one of their guys logged and the other three...well, lets just say we forgot the lube.

We were playing against a guild of equal rating on Imperial Isle, and were clearly in the lead at first. Something went wrong and sometime before VoD we lost control of the tower and we're left on the back foot but still pretty equally matched.

The NPCs came out, both teams were down about the same amount, but they won the battle at the flag stand.

We call a split.

Terribly coordinated, myself (a bunner thumper), our sword war and our flag runner (emo) went off in 3 completely different directions towards their lord. The rest of the team defended best they could. We rejoined inside their base where we were met by a monk and a necro. The necro exhausted all his warrior hate on me just seconds after I managed to get a chain off on the monk who then dropped from the sword guy. The necro then their lord dropped shortly after.

Funny story, nothing but luck and bad coordination and my favourite pvp moment

Way back in the day I remember winning halls with old-school IWAY. We were 1 man down, and didn't even get a henchie

Oh, and just recently, my guild and I won halls flawless with mod-IWAY, vs Ze Medic, Gangstas from the Hood, and some other team. The next match, we came up against RenO and some other people, and RenO guys said that we we're "good iway, very good". kekekeke

Loading only 4 into GvG, with no monks,in fact no healing at all, and playing a full 8 man team. We survived for nearly 20 minutes, getting regular morale boosts, and only lost because they all rezzed with their GL at about 10% health and we made the mistake of trying to finish him off instead of running away

From the same fight (these guys were hilariously poor by the way) watching their warrior trying to solo the Guild lord before he had killed the bodyguards and typing into local chat "Why don't you die damn you!". I wish I had taken a screenshot of that but I was too busy laughing.

Recently, a warrior in RA walks up to me, and I (boon prot) decide to start hitting him with my 1dmg axe. He activates doylak signet and then goes "omg stop running away, noob".

As for actual good pvp moments, there's too many for me to single out one particular event.

once in GvG, we had 3 err7s, so it was 5 v 8. We put up a bit of a fight and lasted for quite a while. At one point we all died and had 10 secs to res so they all started attacking GL. For some reason they all bunched up on the GL, we resed and I put SS on their fighter hench and a sword W, that killed 7 of them. They were admittedly quite noobish but it was still hilarious. We still lost though

My guild's leader told me about his two funniest moments, so I thought I'd share them. :-)

1. In back-in-the-day tombs, he and a r3+ group let in a guy who claimed to be r2 with them. After noticing that he wasn't much help, they asked him what his bar was. His reply was a semi-normal warrior build but.. with 2 cap sigs. >.> He said he wanted to capture someone's skills. *Kick.*

2. In RA one evening, he was fighting against a team of four. However, one character who loaded under the name GW Cheerleader simply stood in the base and cheered on his teammates instead of fighting.
"Go, go, go! You can do it, team!"
"Aw, you almost had him! Go team!"
It was totally random, but pretty funny. :-)
