Have the whole damn team push up, they will attempt to fall back to cover the rit / monks, and then ha! the battlefield has shifted giving you the upperhand either way. Fight where YOU want to fight. Be agressive.

Overextending very carefully. Distortion as you go in, then pull out immediately. If the Monk can spare it, get him to cast Guardian on you. All you really need to do is interrupt a single Shelter or Union, since they're the most prevalent ones and the most annoying.

Depends very much on the map. If it's warriors/wizards/hunters you're extending straight into three NPCs if you want to get at the Rit. If it's Burning you're walking through lava. If it's druids you probably can't get there at all because there's a big wall and half a map's walk between you and the Rit.

It's comparitively much easier on, say, Imperial or Frozen, because there's not a whole lot for the Rit to hide in. You only have to worry about his team, and with Distortion it's often possible to get up there for a long enough window of opportunity to strip Boon.
