Shouldn't you have been using a zealous mod reguardless of your armor?

I never leave the guild hall without my zealous axe on an IWAY or heck, even shock war.

ok this is coming from someone who has basically iwayed themselves to r8, and proud of it:

A warrior's energy in iway is incredibly important to its build. Because of the 10 energy cost of tiger's fury, the warrior needs to maintain a good amount of energy at all times. Also, there is a five energy cost for distracting blow, which should be used as much as possible when fighting against any caster. So basically, what the warrior needs to do is maintain his energy while fighting, so he can always have enough to use tiger's fury or distracting blow. The solution for this is simple. Keep a zealous axe handy at all times. If you use tiger's fury (mine lasts 8 seconds for example), then you will always gain back the energy cost of that skill, and if you keep the zealous weapon equipped, you will gain on each hit. Now if you use this axe the whole time (i usually do), then you will find yourself without energy problems the entire match (despite any edrain). Now, I also keep a vamp axe handy when I dont need the zealous, so i can get in some extra damage where needed.

Good luck

Kept TF up constantly, in full platemail, still no energy issues

like everyone already said +5e sucks , you need 15^50 and a zealous because tigers fury is 33%faster attacking so you gain 33% faster energy with zealous, i also got full fissure, but my combination is chest and leggings glads , all the rest is knights, so i have 25 enrgy and it's ahndy for a 15, -5e you still have 20 energy then

yer glad armor (27 energy) n 15>50 axe is best for iway w/r i guess.

"Kept TF up constantly, in full platemail, still no energy issues"
i def wouldn't want to use full platemail for iway w/r, if 20 energy is enough 4 u n u kept TF up constantly like u said, why not use legionnair armor?

Snype, i agree with everything u said but i'm bit confused..
"there is a five energy cost for distracting blow, which should be used as much as possible when fighting against any caster." new update??
"tiger's fury (mine lasts 8 seconds for example)" shouldnt u have that at 9 secs?

edit:
lol nvm i got disrupting chop mixed up with distracting blow hehe. but i still think 9sec tf is way to go tho.

I don't mean to talk down, but the difference between 80 unconditional and 90 conditional armor is slight, while the difference between 20 and 25 energy is great. All top guild warriors take energy over armor, or have a very good reason not to. IWAY doesn't chage that aspect; I don't see an argument there.

And IMHO, a +5 energy axe would be a serious blow to damage, so it's not worth it.
