Default New IWAY mod.

We ran a modified IWAY but instead of having the usual 4 axe warriors with Eviscerate/Executioner's Axe we instead used a charge warrior to replaces one of the 2 sprinters. I ran the charge war the the effects were quite good. My skillbar looked something like:

Sever Artery (Sometimes Jaihenzju Strike for ward cutting or Bull's Strike)
Gash (Can run hamsting/Sun and Moon/Galrath or Silverwing as well)
Final Thrust
"To the Limit" (For quick adrenaline spiking) or "Watch Yourself!" to defend.
Charge! {E}
Charm Animal
IWAY
Rez

10 Str
16 Sword
10 Tac

I was thinking of the potential in mixing this up, and instead of having the sprint warrior carry sprint, we later changed it out to run Axe Rake for a cripple effect instead. Sprint was no longer needed since charge was speeding up the entire party. This did significantly better and our team was able to wipe out a modified balance to due added effectiveness against the wards. We also outlasted a 30 minute battle with VIMWAY and charge was extremely useful in allowing all of our IWAY warriors to hit and run out of the traps. Unfortunatly after the run we were locked in broken tower due to the game updates.... grrrr.

Also I did some experimentation with seeking blade and pure strike for unblockable damage against guardian and warders that also had a good effect when paired with skills like sun and moon slash. To the limit was great in powering Final Thrust and since the IWAY wars deal so much damage, final thrust was an easy kill 75% of the time. Also we were getting more DPS with the enemy bleeding. Since Ev. causes deep wound anyway, gash could be changed out fo a variety of things including hamstring.

Just wanted to post this because it works and most of the time people think im insane when I want to bring a sword into IWAY.

A large part of IWAY's success is because it's soo easy to form. If you start to change weapons on the warriors for pretty minimal improvements, you increase the chance of people needing to reroll, and that makes party formation a lot longer...

No offense, but why can't you just take retreat?

Iway's biggest problem has always been kiters, and if the traps aren't working you'll have problems....hence "retreat!" or "charge!" seems like a good addition.

i did iway with sword few times n it wasn't too bad. i just replaced 3 axe attacks with sword attacks(16 on sword) instead.

100 blades works very well against vim team when they are balled.

It's a good plan. I also ran ''Charge'' mod few months ago. But I advice to run.
15 - 9- 9 -9 (+4 +1 +1) and I advice to run Tiger's Fury + Galrath Slash + Final Thrust for great spike damage. Charge is good since you can run relic faster without sprint (just stand near the runner and ''Charge''). But still I think Axe is better. It deals more damage.
