Default Paladin for PvP

I know most Paladin builds aren't meant to PvP (what the majority seem to feel), but making a Paladin PvP build thats effective and covers most areas of necessity (damage, healing, tanking, etc) seems like a challenge. The purpose of this thread is to help those players who strongly feel the urge to use a W/Mo in PvP without getting those messages of hate by their allies by making a build that will work for PvP.

You can support the "Paladin for PvP" challenge by submitting some of your successful builds.

Here's two I've think are pretty successful. (Names are according to the elites )

Empathic Paladin
Attributes:
Hammer Mastery: 12 + 1
Strength: 12 + 1 + 3
Skills:
Irresistible Blow
Hammer Bash
Crushing Blow
Wild Blow
Tiger Stance
Sprint
Empathic Removal {E}
Resurrection Signet
Purpose:
The Empathic Paladin deals heavy damage at a fast pace while removing conditions and hexes from himself and another ally.

Light Paladin
Attributes:
Sword Mastery: 11 + 1
Strength: 10 + 1 + 3
Healing Prayers: 10
Skills:
Sever Artery
Gash
Galrath Slash/Silverwing Slash
Final Thrust
Sprint
Healing Light {E}
Vigorous Spirit
Resurrection Signet
Purpose:
The Light Paladin uses sword techniques to quickly cut down the opposition while healing others with Healing Light and supporting them with Vigorous Spirit. (Note: If you cast Healing Light on yourself with Vigorous Spirit, you will heal yourself for 95 Health which is -20 Health from a 10 Tactics Healing Signet with no armor penalty).

Dragon Paladin
Attributes:
Sword Mastery: 10 + 1
Strength: 10 + 1 + 3
Tactics: 10
Protection Prayers: 5
Skills:
Standing Slash
Galrath Slash/Silverwing Slash
Dragon Slash {E}
Healing Signet
Frenzy
Sprint
Mend Ailment
Resurrection Signet
Purpose:
The Dragon Paladin uses quick sword attacks while mending his and his allies' conditions. (Build by Age).

I will continue to update the list as more people begin to submit, but on a side note I think people will begin to flame me and tell me to use the search button .

Your Hammer Warriors bar is FAR too energy intensive. It's not even borderline, it's way out there.

The Sword Warrior has no redeeming features at all.

Well, the hammer warrior isn't meant to use all those skills at once ^_^; and you can use a zealous if that helps.

The sword warrior suppose to have redeeming features...I thought the elite is redeeming enough...define what you mean please.

[edit]Oh yeah, the hammer warrior was made up by a friend in [MATH] guild that he told me is very effective.

Your empathic Paladin will work when you put Empathic Removal on a standard sword warrior bar. (sever, gash, final, frenzy, sprint, rez, distracting/healsig, removal)

Everyone tells me that, I don't know why it can't be done on a hammer or even axe warrior...why just sword?

Sword warriors doesnt need an attack elite skill to work effectively, but axe and hammer does.

Because Axe and Hammer both have tremendous damage/KD elites, that you would be silly not to take. Sword doesn't.

You could use Dragon Slash a set up like this

1 galath slash2.silverwing slash 3.dragon slash4.healing sig.5.sprint.6frenzy7.mend ailment8 res sig. or

1 server2 distacting 3.dragon slash4 healing sig5 sprint6 frenzy7opt.8 res sig.

Just no no Mending or Healing Hands.

One wammo possibility is only valid in party enchantment heavy builds (OoP, dark fury, aegis, etc.). Basically you take a regular warrior and sub in CoP for something.

Oh and also; Solo builds do not belong in Gladiators Arena. Guild Wars is about team builds and skill synergy. If you wish to put together a compelte build for TA, HA or GvG with this Warrior included feel free.

[Somehow thought I had stumbled into Campfire...]
