Wink 10 reasons why people flame certain builds

1. people have nothing better to do
2. flaming a certain build makes you feel good about the build you're playing
3. trying to get people think the same way you do
4. thinking you'll gain respect by flaming the so called "noob builds"
5. telling everyone how you never lose to a certain build
6. an uncontrolable desire for attention
7. flaming just makes you feel good, especially if you lose to the build you're flaming on
8. flaming on a forum/local chat is without risk of being beaten up
9. you feel awfull cause some people earned their rank by builds you detest.
10. keeping JR busy locking threads.

People don't like "certain builds" because "certain builds" are overplayed by "certain players" in such a way that the build does most of the work and the players don't.

One of the reasons should be "Because that's what their friends think", my first PvP guild ever, utterly hated R-spike, and 7 monthes later I've probably played it twice ever, because for 2 monthes all I heard was every possible reason you could hate that build.

and on the flip side..

11. They hate to see HA full of exactly the same builds
12. They hate that they are *often* beaten by the build and not by player skill
13. They hate the rank discrimination which is strongest within these builds
14. They hate illiterate people, simple people play simple builds
15. The builds are unoriginal
16. They have prefered classes which the current fotm may not have a spot for.
17. They are boring to play
18. They make you feel dirty
and just so you don't think i am biased..
19. They're effective and that makes them hate it even more
20. Some people will complain about anything (not i on this one:P)

Only someone who plays that kind of build would have time to write all this.

Point made, I don't see this going anywhere constructive.
