Default E/W icy axe AB build

Right, so here's the deal. Over the summer, I remember reading and posting in a thread about using 2 ele's with axes and a spinal shivers necro in AB's. I've been wanting to try this for weeks/months now, but had been in a guild that was too small and not really focused right to enable this. Now that I have a new guild, I want to give it a shot, but can't find the thread (I tried the search here, google, browsing forums, and options through my guru User CP for over an hour now, and can't find it). So, I'm asking for help either finding the thread if anyone remembers it, or in coming up with a build to try with my guild.

Here's what I'm thinking.... it's a work in progress, so please chime in if you have suggestions. And remember, the goal is to have a target hit with spinal shivers, then have 2 axe ele's on him/her. With the speed boosts and snares listed below, the target ought to drop really fast (i.e., you should be able to take out a group of 4 much faster than they can take down your group with a good monk).

2 E/W weilding icy axes (still debating ___ of enchanting vs ____ of defense), wearing +AL while enchanted armor
12 axe mastery
14 water magic
9 energy storage -- may be lowered, if that much isn't needed, to boost water magic more

Armor of Mist
Conjure frost
Eviscerate {E}
executioner's strike
flurry/frenzy
res sig.

With the 2 free spots, I'm looking at many options: blurred vision, frozen burst, maelstrom, swirling aura, water attunement, swift chop, cyclone axe, for great justice, etc. I think right now frozen burst (good damage and a snare) and cyclone axe (+damage and adrenaline builder, maybe) are winning.

Now, for the other 2 spots, I'm more out of my league. I could see it working as 2 N/Mo's, each sharing the spinal shivers and rigor mortis energy draining load, but then each also having to do some healing. The other option is 1 necro and 1 monk, each focusing on their own role. This would prob. need a N/Me, or some other combo that can focus heaviliy on energy management.

So I could use some real help here, but here's what I'm seeing as bare minimum for the 1 necro setup.
very high curses
moderate blood
moderate inspiration

Spinal Shivers
Rigor mortis
Offering of blood
energy tap
ether feast
perhaps echo for SS???
parasitic bond as a cover?

And I have very little monk experience, but I guess a typical boon/prot. or normal AB monk setup should work.

So as mentioned, any help would be greatly appreciated. I know this might not be the most sensible build, but it sure seems like it would be fun and very frustrating to opponents if it could be pulled off. Thanks in advance!

Why are you trying to do the job of a Warrior, with the armor of an Elementalist? It makes no sense.

QFT. Might aswell go W/E, There's no need for ele to be your primary.

If you're trying to deal damage, then you've failed already....

EDIT: An axe warrior with an Icy haft would do the job just as well. Bull's Strike, etc.

I appreciate the feedback. In fact, that was my response to the OP in the initial thread I said I said I was trying to find. I belive the response was that as an ele, the extra energy and att. points into water magic will allow conjure frost and armor of mist to be on almost all the time. Also, it allows more use of frozen burst or other spells/snares, and energy based attack skills. I would certainly love to find the other thread, though.

Anyway, as I said, this is far from a perfect build, and it may not even prove to be ideal. However, it seems like it would be fun to try, so I would like to press forth anyway. Can no one provide any constructive aid to my original post?

But warriors have a lot of KD (and cripple if you want it) for snaring, they will deal more than conjure frost (which you shouldn't rely on -- 60 second recharge, strip etc) and there isn't any need for armour of mist when you have sprint/rush on a warrior

Even if you did want to run E/W you don't have a cancel for frenzy so basicly you're toast.

I seem to remember the build being an E/N with rigor mortis and spinal shivers along with a warrior or 2 with icy weapons and a monk.

something like that...

IMO an E/N would fit best with laying down shivers and rigor. Max points in energy storage and either ether prodigy, or possibly glyph of renewal as your elite.
