ignore what everyone says about not going into yadayada teams using yadayada builds.

Go in there, see what you like, and participate!

Only type of group you'll be able to get into unranked, is probably one looking for this warrior. I hate to be blunt

Its true though.

non-ranked non-iway teams are very hard to come by.

If you want to get a team fast and maybe your rank then iway, if you ever want to be a decent player learn to play balanced and learn to play good at it.

Pretty blunt but its the truth imo.

I don't know, I think it might be worthwhile doing a little IWAY just to get a feel for the maps and their mechanics.

P.S I like your taste in music.

Thats not true. I'd say at least half of today's top HA balance players got started off with IWAY (got iway r3, r6 and in some cases even r9 and then switched to balance). Honestly, the only unranked pugs that will even get past zaishen, let allown underworld is IWAY. An unranked balance pug takes about 2-3 hours to form and then usually loses at zaishen or UW and disbands. Definately not a good way to start HA...

Really though, Helll is for Heroes sums up my thoughts quite well. Just go in there and have fun~ People will b**** at you if you decide to play "lame" builds like IWAY or ViMway, but who cares? If you have fun that should be all that matters.

Make a balanced. I garuantee you that if you sound mature, r3's and above will join you, or better yet grab some guildies and a few of friends list and pug the remaining 1 or 2.

no, you iway trap to r2, ward to r4, then spirit spam blood spike to 6. then you stand in heroes ascent and realize every pug is b spike or iway, and you hate playing both.

that's just me, anyway.

more on topic: if you really, REALLY want to get into ha action, you should probably learn to iway until you get used to the various maps, and be ready to blood spike when you hit r3.

i dont want to turn this into another iway-hate or love thread, imo iway just another build and it's not going to make you a crappy player as long as u dont do too much of it.

Learn to play a monk . If you're a good monk you can fit into any non-iway non-vimway build, and good monks are hard to come by. Also, advertising yourself as a ranked monk ensures to people that you're not into iway and it's not usually hard to talk yourself into a group higher ranked than yourself.

The other good thing about monking, is that it's just as fun no matter what you play. If you're infusing for bloodspike or balanced, you still have the same job.

if you wanna get rank and emotes, play iway.

if you wanna play, don't zone in HA.

if iway is not for you, do blood spike but be THE caller, otherwise you'll be a worthless shit.

To be honest,it's tough to find a non-ranked balance team unless you have friends/guildies.

Play IWAY or bspike till you get your r3. But then try to lay off of it, and go to other things. Balance being an obvious one.
