Default Luxons took Vasburg...

... but has anyone else noticed that the armor NPC still requires amber to craft armors?

It doesn't make sense, shouldn't the requirements dynamically change as the town literally pledges allegiance to another controlling faction?

You imply that you should be able to craft Kurzick armor with Jadeite Shards? that doesnt make sense

Uh yeah, the amber isn't used to pay for it, it's used as a component in the armor Making it with jade wouldn't work at all.

It does makes sense. The materials needed to craft the Kurzick armour shouldn't change just because the town is in the hands of Luxons. Amber is one of the components for that type of armour.

What should really happen is that 15K Kurzick armour is made unavailable and replaced with 15K Luxon armour until Kurzicks retake Vasburg.

I think Luxons should trade for half price in conquered Kurzick towns and vice versa. Vae victus!

What's actually happening, is the annoying, swishing back and forth line is keeping me from playing the already pain in the ass pve that factions had dished out for me, the way that I was used to and in response, I am not pve'ing at all. AB's are too full of immature, name calling babies and I refuse to take any part in them as they exist now, so... whee.. fun times ahead... *snore*

The line shifting back and forth finally made this game's pve what it was marketed as - a dynamic experience where the faction battles actually MATTER.

It wouldn't make sense for the materials to change, the armor is still in the forest and not the jade sea, so it wouldn't change what the armor is made of.

However, and it would be stupid to do this as well, if the luxons took control of vasburg for example, a more realistic thing would be to have the crafter make luxon armor and not kurzick.

Besides, this is also a reward to the players of the winning faction: luxons can now get kurzick armors (and, when the battleline changes, vice versa).

Why not just replace the Kurzick NPCs with Luxon and vice versa.

I like the new dynamic...it makes PvE far more interesting IMHO.

If Vasburg is under luxon control 90% of the time where would the Kurzick get their 15k armor from?

I've always thought they should change the available hench when the line moves.

(And I don't know what was up with the Kurzicks last night but I was on one terrible team after another. People couldn't buy a clue.)

I disagree, I think it would a be a great idea and a great motivator for whoever can't get their 15k armour crafted to get into Alliance Battles.

By forcing players to PvP? I can hear alot of readers shout allready, I for one don't like AB that much and some don't even like PvP at all.

I love the idea - if you want something, then you need for fight for it (and encourage everyone on your side of the battle to do so as well).

I would only like the idea of replacing kurzick armor crafter with luxon and vice versa, if PvP was not the _only_ solution. Maybe some repeatable PvE mission.
