And Sig of Illusions is Elite as well (it shows it in the "un-unlocked" section of PvP character creation, as well as the rest of the Nightfall skill names).

Cautery Signet and Sig of Suffering look promising, but counting on the customary terrible recharge and cast times of sigs in general...who wknows without details...

I don't think Signet of Illusion is gonna be overpowered...it will make builds a bit more diverse and give them chances to counter a build which they normally can't counter. Sure, it will be overused, but don't think it will be overpowered.

This morning we went up against Chaossanctuary in TA running 2 Illusion Me/Mo's with Sig of Illusion + Balth's Aura (or maybe it was only one, don't remember), both chaining Balth's on a single warrior. We won, but it was a really cool build idea and hopefully it gets people thinking about other ways this skill can be used/abused.

Point being; it gets to a point where you can't negate things like that by combining it with other skills. The return you get just isn't worth it, and it could well be the same fo Signet of Illusion. Making assumptions based on incomplete skill descriptions is silly.

Actually, yeah, my guild has someone who almost swears by a monk build with Inscriptions and Ether Signet, not necessarily for energy management but also to help Signet of Devotion and Signet of Rejuvenation. He works pretty well with it but I hear it's hell to learn to use.
