I can say with certainty that smite is still 100% feasable for ladder-farming in GvG. It runs into the same issues it always did, but with so many teams currently running heavy flagstand-pressure it's still an extremely strong build. As with many of Arenanet's recent nerfs, they aren't that noticeable in actual play.

In HA, healing seed and NR are much more popular. I would be disinclined to run smite in HA for that reason, though it could still win a fair few matches if played right.

All someone has to do is remove Zealot's Fire on your smiters and you lose a good portion of your damage. Thus making Duel/Three Smite fairly easy to counter.

cover with channeling. Mo/E with windborne is pretty scrubby anyway.

if a team has a mesmer wth drain enchant just drain the zealots at the start. usually it isnt covered
